Hello Colin,
Yes, kojak is right....flick back over the previous Cerbera forum pages and you will find the info you want.
First though, I would check out insurance with Sunninghills, Mannings and I believe Peart are offering decent quotes....some have even tried Tesco insurance.
There are plenty of places to look for Cerberas...this site being one of them...
If the insurance looks good, join the Car Club www.tvrcc.co.uk and attend a regional meet....meet some owners.
Good luck....

If you can afford it, there is no harm getting a cerb young. We got ours at 23 (and insured through Tesco's for £1300), and it was a dream come true (having been dreaming about one since it was launched !).
The only thing I would say, is go on some driving tuition days.... Us young'ns may have fast reactions, but experience counts for a LOT more ! (and no, we've not crashed it)....
(But PLEASE turn caps lock off ! We're not deaf (yet) !!! )

I would listen to the guys here and get some experience in a car like the Cerbera. It really does create it's own weather. And this need for speed thing you talk off, this isn't your run of the mile suped up escort, you have all the speed and more available to you in a Ceby, but never will use it.
You will have to get track days, and TDs mean Xtra pounds on the old insurance. What I would do son is to wait until your at least 26 and have at least 5 years no claim. And muke sure you have a spare 5K in your bank for a rainy day.

Memorable Clarkson quotes: 'Too fast and you can forget all about elctronic sensors or four-wheel drive to help you out. It's you versus the Cerbera and the prize is life...If you're a good driver you'll learn to be careful in this car. And if you're not a good driver, being careful won't help, it'll rip your heart out.... this is the only car I've ever driven where I almost never used full throttle.'
If you survive the first year you should be OK!
