How standard is my 4.2

Has 16" spiders, sports exhaust, the brakes are AP in black are these standard, how can I tell if I have a diff ?

What year and reg is your 4.2.

Spiders, and sports exhaust, and black AP's are not standard on early 4.2's.

Mine 96 has silver/aluminium AP's alround.

black paint from halfords 4.50 per can!

some decent dealers respray calipers and sand off the ap enbossed logo at each service

My 99 4.2 had silver(ish) AP calipers. One afternoon & one tin of caliper lacquer later and they were red, however.
