Tyres rubbing, worn wheel bearings, worn steering rack, faulty PAS pump, worn suspension bushes, worn CV joint, worn steering column UJS, trapped child between tyre and bodywork...

I can`t feel anything from the steering.its had a new steering rack arond 7 months ago(due to a leak).i took it to the main dealers, they are none the wiser.I dont think its the tyres rubbing.the car did something similar a few months back, but in a straight line.
not sure about the kid. maybe a coffin dodger outside gala bingo the other night!

the sounds coming from the front of the car(under bonnet)im thinking it could be the steering rack because i`ve(h.l gorner)found another leak.

Check PAS oil level. My vauxhall used to make a noise when low on fluid.

Exhaust rubbing on chassis? Can manifest itself when the engine shifts slightly (like going around a roundabout).

christopher neils told me it was the exhaust rubbin, they said they moved the engine slightly.this seemed to help for a while. But returned after only 300 miles.i tryed h.l gorner.they said the same thing.im not convinced.if it was the exaust rubbing surely the easiest option would be to move the exhaust slightly?

I would love to meet this fella from Insbridge that sounds like he does a good job impersanating me. He must be a lovely lad. Either that, or is Insbridge some sort of code for saying i'm a ct or suchlike?

can the level of oil in your engine relate to an intermitant groaning noise?

Apparently it can. I had the same problem myself once, and I've heard of others experiencing the same. Give it a top up and see if it stops.

Patt - did you get to the bottom of it ? - I'm a relative newcomer to Cerbera ownership - was warned you need a bit of a sense of humour to own one of these beasts but enjoying it all the same.

Checked out a few threads - my problem lies between yours and some others I've checked out. No groan on turning right just gets a bit stiff and there's a bit of a sort of click comes through the steering wheel as if its catching on something. However turning left is perfect !
