Cracked RL7

Just found a 20mm long hairline crack in the side section of one spoke of a 17" RL7.
Has anyone had a similar problem repaired by welding? Have bought a good used wheel, but this is now the second one I've replaced the first being out of true. Chances are at this rate I'll be looking for another in time so if I can repair this one it would be great.

Thread resurrection. Rich, did you get your wheel repaired or did you buy a new one? I have just discovered a crack in the spoke of one of my rears.

Ended up buying a rather expensive recon as had no exchange. The cracked one is still in my garage

I've had 2 18s welded with no reoccurring issues.
