Does anyone know how to remove the door trim on a 4.2 Cerbie?

If it's like the 4.5 then it's very straightforward. There are some hex screws (round black ones with a hexagonal slot) running all the way around the outside of the door panel. Remove each of these and the door panel comes off. You need to have the door reasonably wide open to do this, and mind that it doesn't drop off as you come to the last one or two screws. You'll need to disconnect the connector for the window switch/speaker unit behind the panel before removing the panel fully.

When I removed the panel the black plastic seal at the top of the door by the window frame has split. Any help in repairing, replacing or resealing this?

cheers

Have repaired this stuff on other cars - just used the tape used to seal cardboard boxes.

When you take the door panel off you have to break that seal....

Once its back on use some silicone and then hold it place unitl it sets with some electrical tape...
