Personally would be very wary and even steer clear if not been serviced regularly. Begs question why.
Probably explains price somewhat as quite reasonable but not seen condition so hard to say.
If it is at 15K miles then it's due a more major service so need to allow for that.
Don't understand these people who don't service them. I mean it's only £500 or so for an annual so surely can't be a cost issue as it's not more than an average saloon to service.
Perhaps not serviced as wanting to hide something, i.e. higher mileage?

Strangely enough I might have to sell mine to fund a house move but desperately trying to hang on to it.
07 Coupe manual in Pearl White (Balloon). Has lots of extras as was originally owned by the Factory and used at the major car shows so had carbon ceramics, Titanium Callistos, reversing camera, lifting gear, upgraded leather, branding packs and so on. just under 14K on clock and just back from Mike Pullens from it's annual service.
Full history of course!
PM if you are interested.

If not give Mike a call as he is very much in the know about Lambos up for sale. His number is 01444 455100.
Tell him I passed his name on....
Really nice guy & top bloke who really knows his stuff. Can't recommend him enough.

hi mate,
i don;t understand it either.... footballers are hardly short of cash and pav would have owned it for the middle bit, one would assume he'd just get it serviced.... but then they probably don't care about their cars or aabout depreciation that will result from a poor service history...or even engine failure....it's last service was a major one, got that out of lambo manchester, but not much else...

Great thread, and loads of info, I'm currently on the hunt, but will probably go for a 2004/2005. Keep the advice coming please.

hi scott.

have you seen this one.... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2884167.htm
2004 cars with half the mileage are selling for 69K, and if the specialist who has serviced it is this mike pullens, you cannot go wrong.... not many 2004 out there with e gear and clear engine covers....

colour might not tickle ur fancy, but for this price, buy it and get it wrapped......

Spotted that one, but I think its going to have to be a manual.

Must admit I like silver, it just doesn't seem to photograph well. Think I'm going to have a look at this mentioned earlier in the thread.

does look nice, and has full lambo history.....

but there have been 04 cars sold for 69 with only 10k on the clock.... zero one had one and i saw it... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2827546.htm it was like new....so you may wanna haggle on the price given the mileage.....if you can do without a 3 month warranty, could you go to the seller direct and save some notes.... as its on sor.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2855649.htm this car was this car http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2803406.htm and when i called the private seller, he said the discs and pads needed doing, so check the dealer has doen this, else you need to budget for that!

hi mate,

pm me a price, though i do have to say i have become smitten by the clear engive covers that you can get on a coupe.....can you get them on a spyder?

i have never been a vert person.... i know the sounds are so much better with the roof down, but i would hate the attention in traffic....

You can't get clear engine cover on the Spyder. It hinges from the rear and is totally different cover. Sad really as seeing the engine is a real plus on the Ferrari and Gallardo. On the Ferrari 360 and 430 Spiders you get clear cover.

70proof hi,
just to say i took the 06 for a quick spin sunday, not far though due too
the crap weather.
E gear is going to take a while too get used to,but i reckon it`s excellent.
Just seems a bit weird not having a c/pedal.
Mine seems real smooth on take off no jerking or any of the probs you hear about.
As for the ride i would say it seems about the same as an 04,firm,but then we do have
real bad road surfaces around my way.
Like the 04 i think it will be great on the m/way.
06 does pick up well, but couldn`t give it any really due too twitching on the wet roads.biggrin
I still think 04/05 cars are good, there are probably lots of small things i`m missing on the 06
and a 30min drive in the wet is no test.
You really do need too just go and look at whatever turns you on,then just drive the thing.
cheers ,later eh.

hi dude

thanks for the feedback... glad u finally got to drive her, shame about the weather though! having said that, the heavy rain is a quick way to wash the cars rather than risk the local hand car wash and their one mitt for all!!!

glad to hear you like the e-gear

think i will go for an 06 anyways, though it sounds there is not much between them and a low mileage 04/05, just waiting for the right car at the mo.... a long week has become a long fortnight, but there do seem a lot of cars coming online....

Be carefull of an early 04 53 plate yellow gallardo manual, my old car , gezza that bought it knocked all the corners off it and wasn`t insured, it got put back on the road with HPI clear ! after Lambo manchester quoted £90k to fix it.
