Be carefull of an early 04 53 plate yellow gallardo manual, my old car , gezza that bought it knocked all the corners off it and wasn`t insured, it got put back on the road with HPI clear ! after Lambo manchester quoted £90k to fix it.
is it in the classifieds at present? (for those looking for an 04)

would you stick with titanium cassiepia alloys or would you get apollo wheels.....with yellow calipers

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2460544.htm or

though my wife does not like black wheels, so i would get hem re-sprayed titanium...

i'm resigned to having nightmares all night long that i buy this thing!!!

they have this thing called bmw individual.... you pick whatever colour you like etc.... guaranteed to reduce not enhance the value of the car.... once saw a dark purple m5 with bright yellow interior... almost a match for this gallardo!

agreed second one's interior is awful
1st one is somewhat high price given it's low spec from what I can see. Didn't most cars of that age have Callistos?
so am guess it probably doesn't have much else. lifting gear, branding pack and so on.
also, could be the images, but it doesn't look great from them, but perhaps not cleaned very well.
steering wheel either worn on the metal faces or not cleaned and section inbetween throttle bodies either dirty or corroded.

And just my personal opinion and no offence to other owners of grey Lambo's but isn't that colour somewhat drab for a Lambo? Perhaps suits a 430 etc, but a Lambo? Everyone to their own though and just my point of view.....

I love the way they describe the interior as "burgandy red and GREY" It looks bile green to me. Perhaps it was grey and the driver drove too fast so the passenger puked up all over the seats and dash! That must be one of the most disgusting colour combinations of a Gallardo in existence. Colour blind initial owner?

not as low a spec as one vvus have.... yep, no lifting gear, branding pack etc.....
thats why i had negotiated to swap the wheels for apollo wheels....

seller reckons 83 is fair price for car sold as seen via private purchase (ps still on finance)!!! i offered 83 for car serviced (overdue major one) and warrantied for 1yr.....lets see if it sells...

As an owner of a grey car.......the gallardo is one of the best looking cars ever,do you need to shout about it by dressing it in orange/yellow ? I also think grey suits the lines of the car,it gets ridiculous attention as it is,the thought of being in a 'look at me ' colour is horrific.
But as you say,it's just a matter of taste.

I too have a grey Gallardo and completely agree with the above funnily enough, the cars looks and noise grab more than enough positive attention but in a slightly classier way I feel, imo obviously. I do love the look of an arancio lambo but more so in a picture than a car to drive around in everyday which is what I use mine for, maybe if it was a weekend toy it might be different?

having a yellow /orange/lime one is like being 8 foot tall and wearing high heels.

I have a lime green one but cannot get the heels to fit me. Life's a bh then you die!!!
PS I too like the grey. Looks much better in the flesh as I dont think the metallic effect photographs well.

lol, not through want or trying!

i think he's got a lot of overseas contacts... a lot of his cars go out east...
where does he get all of these well looked after cars from.... the blue one he's got has had a service almost every 800 miles.... someone should remind jt it;s an annual service, not mileage based...
