I was next to them at the AutoSports show in January.
Nice bunch of guys, very enthusiastic. Owner ended up buying the Ascari racecar that was in the auction there.

They're based up in Stafford so wouldn't be that good for you or I for membership like what we currently have, unless you fancy moving up there! They had a Sagaris and GT3 at Autosports, but I don't now what they've got now. They did have a troll on here a few weeks back actually, which was removed very quickly.
When i was there at the weekend they had that Ascari available for passenger laps, but at £45 per lap i thought it was a touch expensive.

they had the GT3 there too which i drove and was extremely impressed with, the Sagaris wasn't there but there was a T350 there instead

Appreciate the update.

I hope you are well and enjoying lots of Super Car action!

All the best.

seem a decent enough outfit BUT.....

no lp640 (sorry I go the sv bit wrong), ascari gt3 or sagaris super sport....
and a 'day' with them transpired to be 2 hours and six laps, not as promoted...

at least it cost me nothing, but then i guess i got nothing either!

Did you get the 'hard sell' by the ex timeshare salespeople just out of interest?

oh yes, hardsell was just like for a timeshare...... today only deals, partial payment plans, exclusive offers and prices.....

i genuinely would have signed up if they delivered all that was promised for this promo day....
well signed up for the ards tution package anyway.....

was underwhelmed by the tvr and in some ways the oakley prep gt3 also, and the instructor let me rev it at will..... man the s62 engine in the e39 m5 was good!

Oh balls - I was invited to this after bumping into them at Race Retro. They seemed a nice enough bunch of guys, and I figured there was nothing to lose, but I was assured on the day that they do not limit the way the cars were driven, (within reason). I have had a "supercar experience" before, where you went up and down a runway with a rev limit of 4000rpm and it was like watching paint dry.

I'm at MIRA with these guys on August 7th. Hope it's not a total waste of time - it's a pretty major journey to make for 2 hours and I'd rather just take the Elise for a blat to be honest if it's going to be ste.

hi mate, certainly on the 'back straight' you are not rev restricted, and i am sure i red lined it.....

i really wanted to drive the lp640..... they will prob have there the oakley gt3, tvr, jag xkr and bmw m3.... if i waived my refund, a ferrari 430....

but they won';t let you push it around the bends, and in three laps you just don;t get enough familiarity with the car and track to do so anyway...

as i said, for free it is fun, esp being driven by mike wild in the ariel atom, i would go for the m3 and xkr in reterospect..... the gt3 has a sequential box (i messed a few changes up), and torque is not mega, so given revs restricted around bends, the m3 and xkr would be more fun....

Thanks for that - it sounds worth the trip then.

I have already posted this on another piston thread but found this one also……

MY first post on this forum BUT after finding this VERY entertaining thread had to give you all an update…..

I have just returned from a weekend Track day experience with SUPERCAR LIFESTYLE RESORT (SLR) – not to bore you all too much – IT is the same company you have had a BAD experience with and they are doing exactly the same again but rebranded with RESORT and relocated to GRANADA SPAIN.

They promise on their website – A Half day track day with choice of supercar, hunting, fishing and 4x4 experience in an exclusive luxury resort – They started a £2k per man and settled for £500!! – What a great negotiator I am…..

What you get is poor communication ahead of the trip (unlike when they are trying to get your money) and then it goes rapidly downhill…. Hotel changed to Spain’s answer to Fawlty Towers at the last minute, NO hunting, fishing or 4x4 either – what a surprise…..

As for the track day, 2 guy’s turned up in an OLD M3 only to advise the half day is now 1 hr (between 8 of us!!) squeezed in to a lunch break of someone else who has booked the track…. Amazingly unlucky!!! – and there is only one car – a Ferrari – that wasn’t so super!

When we pushed for names, contact details and email address’ no one knew anything but an 0845 number and a woman called Christine (funnily they don’t answer!)

Even the Track owner – Clive Greenhaigh @ Gaudix Track, Spain – wasn’t interested and basically walked away without a care – nothing like taking care of 8 stranded Brit track enthusiasts (I thought he deserved a special mention!) Supposedly SLR are his biggest customer block booking the track for 6 months of the year (May onwards – funny they booked us for April!) – again good old clive had no contact details or helpful advice to recover the situation…..

DON’T BOOK with Supercar Lifestyle Resorts

DO spread the new news…….

Thanks and the only positive is I have found this great site!!!!!
