550 wheels help a lot
Are those standard 18 inch wheels? Seem to make a big difference. Or have you also lowered the suspension?

Phone camera fairly useless but this hideous creation runs around town. Original wheels definitely a little small visually, just take the time to add wheels which do this gorgeous body justice. NO wings!

Is that a Capri?

This was just outside the owner's shop. I had to give him the thumbs up and a positive comment so I could get the snaps which was was a bit galling. Not entirely sure what drives a man to wake up one day and do such things to a beautiful car but, unfortunately it happens out here where money and taste are not always bedfellows. The wing comes complete with Ferrari stickers, not really highlighted in these shots, and is the very worst part. It looks like it's been plucked straight off The Fast & Furious set and whacked on there. A crime so it is.

Holy st. The penny has just dropped - it's a 456 with 550/575 front end?

Wheels look great though.

There have been a few threads posted on here showing F360 wheels have been fitted to 348s. They look really good (IMO) but to get them to fit, I believe that a chunk of material has to be machined off the wheel centres (possibly just the rears) to reduce the offset eek Rather draconian!
Mine had 360 rims on and they were a bit wide at the back. I had 5mm milled of the rear hubs which was fine and easy to do but the chap said that was the most he would want to take off. I still think it needed another 5mm to look correct in the arches.

I've got 575 wheels on my car. It drives better too.

Very nice. Was it easy to fit them?

David Yu from Auto Journels fitted 19" Novitec Rosso wheels to his 456 a beautiful transformation IMO

Would there not be an issue, using other alloys? confused

I am thinking that alloys are designed with the cars weight in mind and alloys designed for a lighter car may not stand up to near 200mph speeds on the road.

I went with the Ferrari CS alloys on my 456 as I saw them on Foskers' 456 race car (albeit in black) and I thought they looked great. I would like to think that the CS alloys would be just as strong at the 456 standard wheels. They certainly look great on the car and the car feels better too.
