Would have been nice to have got mine but in the end I just couldn't put up with the endless broken promises of delivery dates, non information, misinformation and people not contacting me when asked to, final straw was they started bumping cars ahead of mine on what appeared to be a 'who shouts loudest' policy and believe me I was shouting but clearly at the wrong person. Perhaps it's for the best because if after all that had have happened bits started not working then I think I'd have driven it through the front of the showroom!
I'm sure they'll get it right in time, of course they will need to, but they are a million miles away from their claim that they will transform (for the better) the customer experience that is typical in the market place
I've had a very similar experience to you and today was the final straw. Not sure if they were bumping cars in front of mine, but plenty of misinformation, no contacting me and generally piss poor customer service. Shame as when McLaren were dealing with me directly they were brilliant. So are you saying best to order from Manchester rather than London? Still thinking about it. Have spoken to Alastair in London but keep changing my mind.
Actually, everyone ive spoken to says Alastair is second to none, but he cant deal with everyone,if he is your point of contact stick with him

Knutsford is not Manchester
Being a Knutsford lad I am making a stand against all this McLaren Manchester talk
I am going up there for a night out tomorrow and I wont be going out in Manchester...it will be Knutsford (which is in Cheshire...not even the same county)
Sorry, maybe you should drop into Mclaren Manchester and ask them to change all their PR leaflets and letterheadsBeing a Knutsford lad I am making a stand against all this McLaren Manchester talk

Only one slight thing is that you always have to slam the door,as you are working against the piston that holds it up,got a testdrive booked for next week

It’s not that things go wrong; it’s how you fix it that counts!
True although it's petty disappointing that, given the amount of testing they were meant to be doing, they're still fixing outstanding issues such as this (it's not the only one, I understand).Gassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
