Thanks, these guys are pretty local to me + have been recommended by others. They are coming around tomorrow to quote.

I am also getting a whole wall mirrored with a bespoke mirror 'wall' as part of the spruce up (should look cool)

They did my parents garage (also Herts?), they are very good but quite expensive when compared to the others. I think it's a case of you get what you pay for though.

I had the garage built 50 Sq Metres a couple of years ago and painted the floor using an epoxy. It was OK for a while but has lifted in places due to sticking to tyres (presumably parked when hot) so I'm interested in alternatives such as plastic tiles.

Did simialr ro mine, PVA sealant then floor paint. USe cardboard or carpet for the tyre conatct points until the paint has properly "gone off". Seem okay now, pretty tough.

Industrial Epoxy coatings give a nice looking, yet easy to clean finish . . . IIRC, there was a bod on one of the Ferrari forums who had a company that installed epoxy including patterns and logos etc. into the surface smile
Had it done in my old one

Hi guys
Seems there are some great products out there now.
I did my floor a few years back with ceramic tiles.
At the time there were a few plastic type tiles available but would have cost a bit ,110 sq /mtrs.
Also not sure if dust ,water can get under the plastic tiles.
Ceramics not to user friendly when breaking out two or more 3 ton jacks. So had the idea to use some alloy checker plate at the rear, which i can abuse with jacks ,axle stands etc.
Took me forever ,but kinda cool biggrin

Thats awesome. Im going to go home and punch my garage in the balls.

Plenty of vinyl floorings from various manufacturers will be easy to clean, warm, hygienic, etc. albeit won't be at the cheaper end of the market.

Is this the 'spot the missing car' post?????

Big garages, no cars!

Well cant say it's wrong! One of the guys up here is married to the most amazing woman, who wants him to buy a garage with a house attached!

Love the finish on the floor and how uncluttered it all looks!

I'm after a complete rebuild, although it's helped on here to find an interior fit out.

But rather than go down a brick garage I was considering to a steel garage

Has anyone done this here? And if so recommend me someone?

Thanks
