A few have asked for some updates, here goes...

How's it coming on? Do you have any pictures of the re-build you'll be able to share when its back? Apologies if you've already discussed this, but what are you having done - a full re-build?
Since you asked, I guess we should really start a new thread.

Car has been taken back to bare tub. All parts have been tested and either replaced or rebuilt. Tub has been relaquered and paintwork done. Going back together now.

nice lump

Ready to go on.

That is just stunning. Not tempted for a colour change? Any upgrades?

Who's doing the work Andy (if you want to say)? Do I spy another F1 in that workshop?

I would take a guess that it begins with an L

I was thinking that too - it doesn't look clinical enough to be McLaren!

This looks so cheap to do

yikes absolutely stunning.

Is that at McLaren? Floor tiles look a bit un-McLarenish!

If it is at L, it doesn't matter, they are very good at what they do.

Sorry!! I really think that f1 gtr's should be in original colours. No need to upgrade anything else but putting back original items such as air jacks

Can I ask what inspired the rebuild - was it a service that got out of hand (!) or was there a specific reason - if its in another thread please direct me - tia

Thank you for maintaining this piece of automotive history to such a high level, and for having the good sense to drive the thing not park it up forever.
