Bund said: 288 GTO - are they within the budget? No chance. Not even an F40 for £300k. If you can find a 599 GTO for £300k that would be my choice. Unbelieveable car. I had a 670 SV and thought it was a bit old

LP670-4 would get my vote, with the GT not far behind.

I would have to say the Koenigsegg at Supervettura. Incredible performance, rare and (IMHO) you are unlikely to lose much on it

I would go old school - Ferrari Daytona & a Lancia Delta Integrale for some fun.

Slightly different angle here, but you could put your name down for an F12, get an early car, do the 5000 miles and probably not lose more than 15% in the year.
Problem is you would have to wait a year for the car.
In the meantime, Carrera GT should fill the gap. Don't' reckon you'd get an F40 for £300K. If you could, I'd do that or a Koenigsegg for an alternative choice.

Sexual Chocolate said: Has to be a F40. Can't play that card anymore, they're more expensive than that. I would go 330GTC and 550 Maranello, or Daytona. But really, the former is the better choice. Onno

You won't get one for £450k unless it has high miles and 'history'. You'll pay 600+ for low miles, good condition and nice history, perhaps over 700 IME

Was in exactly the same position 4 years ago - bought a CGT and have never looked back.
