News here in Singapore is that Ferrari driver and female taxi passenger were declared dead at the scene. Taxi driver died later in hospital. Female Ferrari passenger and motorcyclist still critical. RIP all.
Very sad.I do wonder if making the big models of these exotic marks too user friendly inspires a little too much confidence in those lacking in ability? Not that blasting through a set of reds has anything to do with this, but these cars now get into the hands of people that might otherwise avoid such a car if it were challenging to drive like the early Lamborghinis and the F40.

Interestingly, there is now a public debate here since the episode went viral on whether such (quote) 'outrageous machines' should even be allowed here when the top speed limit on a few expressways is 90kmh. Terrible thing envy !!I do wonder if making the big models of these exotic marks too user friendly inspires a little too much confidence in those lacking in ability? Cars don't kill - idiots who drive them do.

BeforeHowever it could be that there has been a GTO sold here also, but i am inclined to think that this is a "common or garden" 599 that has been dressed up.

honestly didnt think this driver could be even more of a , but killing 2 people and making his 599 look like a gto ...what a tt
I understand that the bloke is a complete selfish idiot for causing an accident and killing two people but I don't know why making a standard 599 look like a GTO would make him a "tt". There are people on here who have updated the look of their cars for example making a standard murcielargo look like an LP640 or fitting LP560-4 bumpers to older Gallardos. There's nothing wrong with updating the look of cars and people who do it are by no means "tts".TomCooper said:

unless its a classic such as a 1973 911 rs rep etc
but if your making a modern car such as a 599 look like a gto its the same as putting a m3 badge on 330 ci or a S on the back of a 911 turbo

plus im pretttttyy sure if you rocked up at a official ferrai club meet with a fake gto based on a 599 you would be laughed at

I don't know how the Singapore registration system works but that is a different reg number to the car in the accident, which was SXC922T.
It's actually SKC922T, and the deceased vehicle was a proper GTO. There's a few knocking about in Singapore. Saw at least one parked in Sepang a few months ago.-DeaDLocK- said:

Saw at least one parked in Sepang a few months ago.age denoted by the second 2 alphabet's ... KC makes this registration about 7 or 8 months old. However, if the car is sold second hand and the original owner keeps the registration, then a latest new reg is issued, not like the UK where it has to be correct year for car or older.
