Sorry, I am sure this one has been done to death before, but without starting a war, what are the views / diffences on the two ?
Went to Jardines in Reading today.....Lambo's were amazing to see even though they were closed.

Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, it's what you prefer that counts.

F430 for theatre, Lambo looks like an MR2 unless it's in some garish colour.

Not at all, it's a bland looking little car with straight lines and no real curve/styling/detail, unlike the Ferrari which is a work of curvaceous art. Seen plenty of both on the road, and unless the Gallardo is in mental orange, yellow or green, they hardly get a look. Some of the Ltd Ed's look better, but some look like a glued-up MR2 ram-raid on Halfrauds. Now the Murc is a different kettle of fish altogether.

You have obviously not spent much time, if any in a Gallardo, A Gallardo attracts huge attraction. Where as the F430 not nearly as much. The Gallardo (Exterior) is a much sexier looking car than the F430.

If we're talking styling alone the above appears a minority opinion. Gallardo is a lovely and distintive shape that's very well stood the test of time.
F430 never the prettiest of rarris with curious proportions and some ungainly details. I wasn't a 360 fan when that launched but the shape is aging better than the 430 for sure.

Hey, each to their own, you guys are Gallardo fans, all good and enjoy, but to me, and gauging reactions of people 'in the street', it's a 'meh' to look at...
Let's drop it now.

I would go for the Gallardo everytime.....unless the question was which one Gallardo or 458 then the answer would be very different.
As for looking like an MR2? The kits out there are mainly to turn MR2's into Ferrari's especially the 430...LOL
Nice position to be in though OP...good luck with the choice and as mentioned it's your car, your money so your choice....pick what you prefer.....be the shepherd and not one of the sheep...

Let's drop it now. I'm no more a Gallardo fan than I am a 430 fan. Having owned a Gallardo and put 20,000 miles on it, and currently own a 430 I am simply going on my real world experiences. Gallardo better to look at, 430 better to drive in my opinion.

Agreed on the outside looks and the way they drive, but the inside of the 430 has a few parts bin items but at least they are off other supercars and not an Audi RS.
