Great looking car and I can also recommend SF, both Simon and Matt are great guys and offer very nice cars and are honest and open to deal with.

Very subtle for one of the V8s and, not sure it suits it to my eye but, on a 550 or 456 I bet it would be stunning.

Wasn't there a few limited editions of 355's by Asprey's which featured one colour like this one and one silver one with a dark red interior?
Maybe they were only Spyders?

Went down to see it on Friday. I can confirm that it is a nice, unusual colour, though it really needs to be seen up close and personal to appreciate. Car needs a little attention on the inside TBF but then this is reflected in the price. Not quite the one for me but if you like the colour and it meets the budget then I recommend a look.....

I really like this!!
I see 355's as todays dino and dino's always appeal in the curious colours that were available... Same goes for 355's i think. The dark green one foskers had last year I thought was stunning! If only there was a viola 355 out there for me!

Maybe they were only Spyders? There was a GTB in Grigio Titanio with an Aubergine interior and an Aubergine Spider with Black interior. I know where the GTB is, but no idea about the Spider. Schumacher drove the GTB from Maranello (the dealer) in 1997 to Asprey on Bond St. in London. It's featured in the F yearbook 1998. I have a copy here. There is some BS on the net about there being 6 of these but there was only the two.

That color (colour?) is really a non-starter for me. It is sooooo non-Ferrari. Perhaps it's a taste gradient as you cross the pond (I've seen far more creative paint shades on Ferrari's in Europe versus U.S.) but back here, it would be, um, unusual (i.e. no resale). But if you love it, and will keep it, then by all means... V

The interesting colour ones tend to appeal the most to me. It may well affect resale value but, presumably, it affected the original purchase price in the first place. That said, I think there's a certain kudos, and perhaps premium to be paid, to be able to say that you have one of only a limited number of cars made in a particular colour.
There was a lovely car (308 as I recall) at the Cliveden Supercar meet that was somewhere between metallic pink and orange (I am describing it really badly) and it had far more presence than the traditional red ones. It seemed to draw the crowds more than most too.
I freely admit to being biased - one of mine was originally metallic green and will be returning to that shade at some point.

You know those special occasions when loads of a certain model of Ferrari are gathered together? The ones that catch my eye are always the non-red ones. I think this particular 355 looks amazing, and I also liked the 458 that Chris Evans specced in Vinaccia, before (characteristically) selling it on pretty quickly: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3753388.htmColour not to everyone's taste but I think it looks great.
