Has anyone else had a go in one?

I had one on loan for a couple of days, lovely thing, much more character and charisma then a 7 series or S class, fantastic engine, very responsive chassis, lovely interior with everything on it, but bloody awfull "duo select" automated manual flippy paddle gearbox!

Absolutely shocking, and there is no other choice.
They so need to stick a proper auto in it, then it'd be a very nice car indeed.

Just wondered if it was just the car, or just me, or if they really are all that bad!

Not driven one yet, but certainly on the list.
I honestly thought I was sold on a Cerbera to complement the Chimaera, but having looked around one of these at Meridian the other week I'm not so sure.

Must get down there and blag a drive one day.

Hi There,
I had a drive in the new Quattroporte down at Dick Lovetts in Swindon and I offered there and then more money than I possess to own one! I thought it was absolutely stunning.

I agree the gearbox is not ideal and I would prefer a normal Automatic. These paddle shifts are just not for me on any car. The thing about the new Quattroporte is that it is just the most stunning piece of kit on the road today, bar none and that is reason enough to own one. After 10 or so minutes I actually got to grips with the gearbox and it ceased to be a pain. I decided to wait a year and see if they depreciate like I think they will. A one year old fully loaded car for £45 would be too good to resist!

Stunning, beautiful, gorgeous cars. Possessed of more style, class, and identity than any German car on the market.

I absolutely adore them. Convinced that I will buy one of these over the next few years.
