ALL.... We have registered, but we were thinking of 'Package A' and my Mrs had some questions as to what was included/excluded in terms of Meals, Standard of Hotels/rooms etc and Valentina of Lambo50club has replied with a detailed answer which I think you may find useful. I've pasted it in below, and Ive highlighted what our questions were, and her answers. For those considering Package 'B' and 'C' the answers would also apply to the appropriate dates.(apologies for grammatical & punctuation errors)

Cheers, Marky.

Re: Package 'A'
7Th/8th
(Question) What are the proposed Hotels? and what standard of rooms have been booked? (standard doubles/executive doubles/suites?)
<answer> Due to the number of participants attending the event, there will be several hotels during the tour. They will be a minimum of 4 stars hotels. Different kind of hotels and rooms have been identified, as many in negotiation in each city to be confirmed, but not to make too much difference between one participant and another they will be at least a standard of 'executive doubles or equivalent'.

<Question> Are ALL the hotels inclusive of Breakfast?
<answer> Yes - all included.

<Question> It says 'exclusive location for dinner'?, is the cost of dinner/drinks included in the package? please clarify
<answer> Every meal during the tour is included, except for the lunch in Bologna on Saturday 11th that is at your leisure.

<question> It also says planned lunch in Bobbio, could you explain if the cost of lunch is included?.
<answer> Yes, it is included
<question> Evening suggests a dinner in the hotel or locally renowned restaurant? Is the cost of this included? please clarify
<answer> The dinner will be organised at the renowned restaurant/club "la Capannina"; included in your entry fee

9th -
<question> It says 'lunch stop half way' – is the cost of lunch included? drinks etc?
<answer> Yes, everything included

<question> Evening it says 'transfers to hotel & dinner will follow' – Does that mean the cost of dinner/drinks are included? please clarify.
<answer> Yes, everything included

10th -
<question> It says 'lunch stop in Arezzo' – is the cost of lunch included? drinks etc?
<answer> Yes, included

<question> In Bolgna, evening suggests dining individually at our hotel or the best bolognese restaurants? Is the cost of this included in the package?
<answer> Yes -Included, we will make reservations for you in the best restaurants which are being negotiated in Bologna

11th -
<question> Is suggests 'individual lunch' do we interpret that this is at our own expense? Is that the case? please clarify.
<answer> Yes, this is the only meal of the trip which is at your expense
<question> Evening at Sant' Agata– Gala dinner – can you clarify if there is a dress code for the Gala Dinner.
<answer> Dress code
The dinners on the 7th and 9th of May are more formal: shirt with collar and jacket – no tie, or traditional dress according to nationality. Ladies dress accordingly.
On 11 May the event will conclude with a Gala dinner. The dress-code is formal: jacket with tie or traditional dress according to nationality. Ladies cocktail dresses.

<question> Is states Gala Dinner. Is the cost of the Gala Dinner fully inclusive in the package?

<answer> Yes, it is included

Hi all, am new here and got the link to this topic from markyB, thanks for that. Well I then post a linkback to the topic here on LT :

http://www.lamborghini-talk.com/vbforum/f14/drivin...

Tomorrow the registration is closing and I have not (yet) registered.

Any suggestions anyone ? By the way, the route could lead through Luxemburg and then Germany. In Lux you could add a full tank for about 30% cheaper on the way to and back from Italy. I still see a possiblity for a program that gives the different package buyers (I guess only package A and B?) could attend at known stops, to make the group grow between the UK/Scandinavia going to the South

Well it was just a thought, until now .. no registration. Without the event such a 'troop' Lamborghinis would already be good enough for me wink

Most of the above is included in the General Terms and Conditions on the Lamborghini50 website... but thanks for posting anyway.

To help fill in some more possible queries...

Autostrada Tolls for the tour are included.
Hotels for the Saturday night, after the Gala Dinner, are included also.

See you there

Hey Everybody,

Sorry in advance if this has previously been asked or mentioned.

We have the LP670 booked up for the full trip and i was wondering what everybody’s plans were regarding getting there and returning.

We were personally thinking of:

Departing:
> Going down to Dover and staying somewhere for a early morning leave
> Eurotunnel Early AM
> Direct Route approx 680 Miles (We will be sharing the driving so hopefully not many stops needed)
> End Day the journey approx 100 Miles away from the event ready for morning start (Find a place to stay of course)

Return:
> Same sort of plan but the other way round

May sound crazy but is anybody up for that or what you guys thinking? If anybody is going in a small group id be grateful if you could let me know your plans if you have any spaces. We were just thinking there’s a lot of driving once we get to this event so may as well take a direct route.

Almost forgot to add, if anybody is doing a group car shipment i would love to get a price please if theres any spare space :/

All the best

Hi

I think that all Lamborghini dealers are doing their own thing - Lamborghini Club Uk will be doing something else - and there are a bunch of PH'ers doing their own thing!

Answers on a postcard, please!

The general terms & conditions didn't state clearly what was included/exclude within the price (meals/drinks/lunch's etc) hence my questions to Valentina @ Lambo50

Thanks for extra info on the Autostrada tolls & Hotel Sat night, which also wasn't made clear in the T's & C's.bow

Always wanted to take my car back to the factory for that obligitory photo and this did seem like an ideal opportunity. But on reflection the shear costs and logistics and time and what i can only call the worry factor has made me hold off. I feel it will be a wonderful occasion and do wish i owned a Gallardo which would make the whole thing so much easier and less frought. But i have decided to fly to Milan and see the cars in the square before you lot all set off and hope one LP400 (? anybody) may be entered. It will be great to see all the cars and the older cars in particular. I am pleased that it seems a reasonable spread of Lamborghini models are in and impressed that the UK has been so supportive. Looking forward to being in some way part of it and hopefully will be able to soak up the atmosphere while sitting with a expresso and almond biscuit.

Jan. Not sure where your start point is... but we were checking out some routes & distances. We thought getting to Calais may be a struggle... as the departure on the 12th would be a late-morning/midday (assuming a late one at the ball on the night of 11th vomit) so... we were thinking of a 2 night stop on the way down, and a 2 night stop on the way back.
Our intention would be the early Eurotunnel crossing on the 5th. Drive to Epernay & overnight stay on the 5th. Then driving to Lake Geneva for overnight on the 6th, then through the Mont Blanc tunnel to Milan on the 7th. Arriving in Milan mid-aft. Return... leave Bologna 12th, nice easy drive coffee to lake Como for overnight stay on the 12th. Drive to Nancy on 13th for overnight stay and catch the Eurotunnel mid afternoon on the 14th.

Mark, I will leave the hotel after breakfast on the 12th and that gives two days to get back to Calais.
Your idea of staying at Lake Geneva on the 6th then going through the Mont Blanc tunnel sounds good. Do you know what time we are supposed to be in Milan on the 7th?

Jan,
As far as im aware they say assemble by mid-afternoon in Milans' Old Square on the 7th.
With regard to the return leg its 1400km in 2 days (13 hrs) Bologna/calais.... which maybe a bit of a rush driving & a long haul for me & the wife.... and the thought of having to be up & on our toes drunkwobble early on the 12th after the black-tie bash party on the final night is a bit daunting...vomit so not having to be up at the crack of dawn, we intend to do a return with a 2 night stopover.

Anyone not going on the Factory visit fancy coming along to Presott Hill climb? It's the same weekend and would be good to gather a few Lambos and/or enthusiasts to share the celebrations in a much colder environment.

Thanks Mark

I am still waiting to know if places are likely to come up. I was thinking of extending each side to give me some time as it is 450 miles to the Channel from my house!

Any ideas as to what you are doing? Are you travelling with Jan?

I know most of the guys from up here are having the cars trasnposrted accross and flying over to meet the cars.

I hope you can make it. The last time I think I saw you was the Italian Day at Bristol. Markylooby is travelling down later than me. But his idea of a few Lambos meeting up on the 6th at Lake Geneva and then driving through the Mont Blanc tunnel to Milan meeting point on the 7th sounds like a good idea. I will have a look at hotels and see what I can find.

Jan, I'm arranging a run for Lamborghini London, we have 8 cars booked so far, leaving on Sunday morning, staying near Troyes on Sunday night and on Lake Annecy on Monday night then going through the MB tunnel on Tuesday morning.
Drop me a mail (or message on Facebook) if you fancy it.
