Nice! Even in superleggera Trim that must have felt cumbersome round a track after an exige?
I think almost anything would. It was surprisingly agile but the track felt a little small for it - Silverstone, Monza or Spa might be more enjoyable in this. I've still no real idea of it's limits though - and I doubt I'll ever be able to master it, unlike the Exige which gives you so much more feedback.

you need a bigger rear wing if you're going to track it biggrin

That's epic - shame it's not a proper Superleggera! wink

You could always go to the other side and upgrade the rear. I found a company who do the LP570 rear bumper with the carbon diffuser and also the LP560 tail lights to fit the pre gallardo.

I personally like your front bumper.

Not too sure on the shields though.
It's hard to see but it already has a whacking great big carbon fibre diffuser (and a carbon fibre front under-tray as I found out today). If I come round to the LP570s looks I think I'd rather trade-in the car than change the bodywork. I'm 99% sure the shields are going - essentially just stickers anyway. smile

[quote=sa_20v]This thread is a great idea.

Here's my white 08 Gallardo Superleggera which I've owned for just over a year. I recently took the beast to Bedford Autodrome for a track evening and was surprised how differently it drove compared with the fully RWD cars I've owned (Exige/Aero 8 etc) - despite 70% of the power going to the rear. I'm currently considering removing the after-market bumper and the Lamborghini shields as they really split opinion.

Mate that looks so clean and crisp,no plate probably helps in that department.
Pm me if you do take the bumper off.

Indeed it has biggrin that's the part my wife loves about it. We originally were looking for a TdF or black one, but had to settle for red as it was so good. It's the stripe that sold it to her.

How did you manage a Superleggera at Bedford??? My 997GT3RS barely passed the static test each time (on the limit and truthfully under the 2/3 max rpm)

I would love to take the Stradale there...but have seen 360 and 458 being refused the access several times.

Doesn't she mind the lack of carpets. My OH hated the aluminium floors, not good for the Jimmy Choos.

Mine OH doesnt wear high heels...we are more the hippie style, flipflops tshirt and shorts. My kick is not cars actually, it's surfing the best waves...and she's into surfing too.

Note: no joke, but is there any roofrack which can be fitted to the CS? I used my 7.1 GT3RS for surf and snow trips quite alot.

Engine warm, sport mode off for static test. Then not accelerating hard past the noise monitors (although I think only one was active).

A CS with a roof rack. You gotta put some pics up of that.
Actually OH just found the Scud too much. Too showy, too loud (It was very loud )
She's really only interested in how it looks tbh. Likes what she likes without regard for reputation. Which is pretty cool IMO
And means she has never changed her original TT.

Same here OH is only interested in the overall design and beauty, that's why she rides in a classic R107 300SL (and wants a 70-80's AMV8) and for me she insists that the car has no spoiler (rear or front) that ruins the original drawing.
And she enjoys her comfort, so quiet and peaceful for long distance is a must. Which unfortunately the RS or CS do not provide frown I'm only winning on the no spoiler thingy with the CS

Been away from the forum for a loooooong time! But I've just entered the Maserati fold, with a nice Quattroporte. Very pleased with it indeed - much nicer to drive than the CL 600.
