munch997 said: Nice colour change, Is the drivers door open? Looks to be a big gap there unless it is a reflection. CIE560 said: I think the door is open because you can see a little gap at the top of the window which happens when the door is open. Looks very good with those wheels. Well spotted, yes the door is slightly open, I literally just jumped out the car to grab a couple pictures as I didn't have any. Ferrari panel gaps can be bad but luckily not quite that bad

NRS said: E, is it this car? Swiss registration, plate started VD, and previously in London. I suspect it's not, but not so many in that colour, even though I think it's one of the best colours for a 599! Nope sorry, not my car, as already said that one is LHD. Nice spot though!

Nice new toy!
All you need is a nice QV to complete your collection!
Been busy this end too, but will try to come up very soon with the old girl and will let you have a wee drive. Not offering to sell her and don't want Diablo Pete taking out contracts on me!
You are putting a nice wee collection together

Paul xx Cheers Paul. Yes I agree, love the QV, it's on the "fantasy list" just need to find some more space, ran out of room a long time ago! I'm thinking about knocking down the house and just building a garage Hope to see you soon! E

I went from a 612 to a 599 ('09, so leaner burn too)..........and the 599 makes the 612 look like a camel.
They REALLY go through fuel like almost no other car.......especially when you put your foot down.

Do you know your current mpg John? Just curious as Chris Harris said it was scary how quick it went through the tank.

Would love to add a late 599 with HGTE Kit to the F355 and F430 spider but the above really worries me. With fuel prices only ever going one way to have a 599 as my daily drive ( which is what I had in mind )and having a heavy right foot is just not practical. Also because of the running costs inc fuel they are going to continue to depreciate at a rate of knots. Think they are fantastic cars at fantastic value for money currently but see them becoming the bargain of the century in the future
