I genuinely think you'd regret going for the 458 now to be honest (although you'd be a happy boy for a few years).

I got stung (or felt I had) with a 911 Turbo a few years back, at 4% flat and with £26k down as deposit on a 67k car.
Used it daily and admittedly loaded 50k miles on it, but when it came to settlement time (after 4 yrs) I had to sell the car privately for less than the balloon + put in another £4.5k to clean the slate, all deposit gone which left a sour taste. (albeit in peak of recession and 911's lost a lot of value).

It's entirely your call mate ... but I personally wouldn't buy a car now unless I could buy it outright (unless there's a benefit by putting it through a company, which I don't think there is).

Good luck, but remember that it's nice to have such a hard decision to make! lick

Finance companies give much lower residual values on cars like this now than you were probably given back then. All things being considered (and yes it's still a gamble) a good chunk of the deposit should be left come time to sell.

(Especially with an £80k deposit!!)
