Just insured my 430 with Zurich.
39, live in Lancashire, garage, 9yrs no claims (which they match so u can still use it on my DD). £1400
Locktons/Chubb/FOC were £1600

I use Gilbart Smith, who I came to know as he runs the AC owners club scheme. Excellent fleet policies and very flexible, competitive prices, and they do pay out on claims (as i sadly know from experience!)

Yes. My renewal just came through for my F430. A mere £260!

FOC scheme through Locktons - nobody else can come close to the premium despite the hikes in 2012.
I used Locktons who were agents for Chubb. My recent quote from Footman James is very significantly below my old premiums so I changed.

Yes, £650 for 2014 f12. Very aware of the terms of the policy and its limitations.

I'd like to retract my endorsement of Chubb. They were horrific to deal with following my claim in 2013.

Yes for me too, at least unless we find a better similarly priced alternative. I'd be curious as to any limitations I haven't spotted, other than small print regarding the excess amounts.
We have an MX5, Boxster S and 360 Modena insured for two of us (in our forties) for about £880 iirc

Admiral here to.....2000 360, 4k miles, 3 years NCB. £350.
Not on a multicar.
A private client type policy doesn't guarantee good service.
With many DD's now costing £40k plus entry level F's are not that special as far as insurance goes. They are generally very well cared for also.

Anyone care to recommend a decent insurer for a 458 Italia? Are the recommendations at the start of the thread still valid?

Tried doing a quote online with Locktons, followed up with two phone calls but wasn't able to speak to anyone who could actually discuss it with me and was just told "someone will call you back". That was over an hour ago now. rolleyes

Did the whole Confused.com thing and got Admiral/Bell/Elephant quotes around the £640 mark, but feel like this probably isn't the safest option (would like agreed value, and the ability to choose to use Ferrari for repairs as a minimum, etc)

Well, I just took the plunge and went with Admiral.
£1,000 cheaper than nearest quote. Hope it works out!

I just went the other way from Admiral to a private client policy with AIB.

It nearly doubled the premium but I went for agreed value and any driver over 30 plus me covered fully comp on anyone else's car up to my agreed value.
A lot of other benefits such as repairer of choice, breakdown cover etc. I thiught I'd try it to see if I use the extras.

Interestingly after reading the earlier posts it's underwritten by Hiscox.
