No, its in the same place as on the MP4-12C
Actually the doors open via buttons mounted inside the vent that runs through the door. You can just barely make them out in this photo:The doors hinge at the base and top of the A-pillar.

I had the good fortune to be there in Paris thanks to McLaren. Otherwise I'd be left wondering too.
I'll have the car at my fingertips again the next two days. That will allow me to finally see the interior, as there was just no way to do so in Paris so I am pretty excited about that. They probably won't be giving away too many secrets as they don't plan on releasing the full specs until Geneva, but if there are any questions I might be able to ask for you feel free to throw them out here.

It really is an incredible looking machine. Why on earth anyone would want a Veyron compared to that I have absolutely no idea......also makes a Huayra look a bit lack lustre too.
The Veyron's an old car now though in supercar terms, like comparing two different fruit of your choosing. LongLiveTazio said:

True but they are still selling them aren't they ? Aren't many other cars in that "price bracket". For some reason I never think of the Veyron as a Supercar....seems to me it's owned more by people as a mobile display of their wealth than for absolute driving pleasure. Maybe I'm wrong....not like I know any owners.
Bugatti initially reported that something like 40% were going to existing Bugatti owners. I don't think that the 'mobile wealth' thing applies more to Bugatti than to McLaren when you look at who bought the F1, or Ferrari, Pagani, Koenigsegg, etc. You're never going to find a car whose ownership contains 'the right kind' of demographic for you personally and people will use any luxury item as an expression of wealth and 'taste' rather than what might be called 'true passion' for want of a different phrase. Wine, cigars, suits, watches, helicopters, yachts, whatever.

Anyone else think it looks really smart with the wrap it's got on? Or should I.....
Funny, I was just thinking when I first saw the photos - given the increasing obsession with individuality and bespoke custom options, I was wondering if anyone had ever actually specced a supercar to look like a camouflaged mule?! I don't know why anyone would but given some of the tarted-up monstrosities that have been allowed to leave factories, I guess anything's possible!I guess the 'camo' is more of an eye catcher (so is it a marketing stunt after all?!). But I'm with you both, I quite like it.
