The Best Video on YouTube... Ever: Enzo WRC
Discussion
I have not read all the posts here. Sorry if someone pointed this out before.
If the owners live on a farm, and need to use farm roads to get to a main road, would anyone complain about the driving of the car at whatever speed to get out of the farm?
Possibly the driver is blonde and gets easily confused and forgets which way to go out, hence explaining the spinning around of the car until he recalls the way out?
All perfectly possible, simple explanations!
It is just a car after all and needs to get from A-B!

I plan to stick a mucking great big V8 into an old Ford Granada estate. Could you please be so kind as to tell me what that will or will not be designed for, as I wouldn't wish to do the wrong thing with it.
Can people stop missing the point? An old Ford Granada estate is in no way comparable to an Enzo!!
The point is.... it doesn't matter what one person (be it sone, or me, or you, or whoever) thinks; once a person owns a car, it is designed to do whatever the hell they want to do with it! If that means rallying an Enzo, so be it. You're not "supposed" to rally Bentley Continentals either, apparently?
I for one thoroughly enjoyed the video & wish there were more of it, including some more corners (I get than an Enzo will spin its wheels in any gear on a mucky farm track...).
One day, someone will banger race an Enzo, just because they can. I can't wait to see the PH thread about that one....

This crass display of insouciance is not to my taste. Sorry
Whats next ? a Starbucks Senior Exec incinerating an original Monet on youtube just because he can.
Love the car and some good car control.
A very valid point.Whats next ? a Starbucks Senior Exec incinerating an original Monet on youtube just because he can.

Driving a hypercar quickly through some muddy puddles is exactly the same as irreversibly destroying a priceless work of art.
I once 'off roadbed' my new six series BMW just because I wanted to. I could afford it and wanted to do what popped into my mind as entertaining. I was severely reprimanded by a friend of mine who drove a less expensive car. It wasn't his to get stroppy about. Of all the things in the word to get annoyed about, I wouldnt choose this.

There's a big difference between a bit of normal English dirt (which every car that doesn't live in town will get covered in at some point) and purposefully damaging something. Can't see what the fuss is about - most farms would kill for concrete roads that clean and smooth.

What kind of an argument is that?!"He can do what he wants, it's his car"
Of course he can do what he wants, that's not the point
This is a discussion about whether it's appropriate or not.

Ah, I see where we're going wrong here."He can do what he wants, it's his car"

YOU might be having that discussion. I'm not.

You're just being silly now.

If someone accidentally went into the gravel and it saved him from injury, fair enough.
If someone deliberately hoons it through the gravel then he's a crass idiot.
Have you ever driven outside of town? There's dirt and water and mud everywhere. You can wash it off. If someone deliberately hoons it through the gravel then he's a crass idiot.
The car was hardly being abused.

I see. So the basis of your discussion is "is it his car or not?".

Sorry, you've completely lost me, pretty sure that's not what I said, and I'm fairly sure that's not what the "discussion" was about. On that basis, I'm oot. Feel free to have the last word. You're just being silly now.

its a discussion about opinions, nothing more"He can do what he wants, it's his car"

how 'appropriate' would you find criticism of how you use any piece of your property if some stary eyed fan boy considered he owned a piece of the spirit or whatever of that property?

Of course, a discussion about opinions, yes, but also about taste which is of course subjective.how 'appropriate' would you find criticism of how you use any piece of your property if some stary eyed fan boy considered he owned a piece of the spirit or whatever of that property?
If I posted a video of me using it on the internet, I don't see how I could have cause to complain about any comments.
Just to be precise, I'm no Ferrari fanboy, however I do think that some cars are more than just machines

doubt the boy is complaining but an emotional response (either way) to how someone uses a machine like this is essentially meaninglessIf I posted a video of me using it on the internet, I don't see how I could have cause to complain about any comments.

in any case looking at the video again I don't anything that mightn't really be expected on a normal road plus a little hooning
better than lending it to a journo
