The Best Video on YouTube... Ever: Enzo WRC

Ok Lets say a works spec car, but the point is that car is now marked and that video will have knocked 10's if not hundreds of 100's of thousands off the value.
It might be just Mud but it's also a Ferrari and knowing how anal people are buying lesser Ferraris I can only wonder how fussy they are buying an Enzo.
Maybe they have enough money that it is worth 10's of thousands to make a video of them driving their car around a field. It's all about perspective. It might be just Mud but it's also a Ferrari and knowing how anal people are buying lesser Ferraris I can only wonder how fussy they are buying an Enzo.

First of all, the car is displaying a show plate of sorts, so thats the first thing to throw people off course when trying to identify the car..It might be just Mud but it's also a Ferrari and knowing how anal people are buying lesser Ferraris I can only wonder how fussy they are buying an Enzo.
Secondly, do you really think other Enzo's haven't been driven in this sort of way? Splashing through puddles, doughnuts in car parks, lots of track time? Its a supercar, people thrash them (well, some don't) and it won't be affecting the price at all..If it was to be sold, the car would be plonked in a showroom of a top end dealer and cleaned up accordingly, but take my word for it, getting it muddy and putting it on the internet won't be knocking hundreds of thousands of pounds off the value...

I would much rather see an Enzo be subjected to the situation shown in that video than see one languishing in some basement garage collection, never having turned a wheel.
In fact i would rather see an Enzo be subjected to the situation shown in the video than i would see one 'poncing' around Puerto Banus at 10mph doing lap after lap of the Marina
So fair play to the chap for 'driving it like he stole it'
exactly cars are meant to be driven not polished. as for the comment about ken block! wtf a rally driver that shows off by doing doughnuts meh! now this bloke doing it in a expensive supercar good on him go out and rag it and get people like us jealous. that a supercar clearly DOESNT mean that much to him and its seen as a poser vehicle even then. great vid!In fact i would rather see an Enzo be subjected to the situation shown in the video than i would see one 'poncing' around Puerto Banus at 10mph doing lap after lap of the Marina

Driven like every car should be driven, for maximum fun!
I do hate to see cars that were built to give enjoyment tucked away in a garage in a plastic bubble as just a collectors piece.
If he or his Dad can afford to do that it's up to them, it's their money!
I did that to my Dads Vauxhall Carlton when I was 13, his views wern't quite so liberal when he caught me!

I've bought a few Ferrais not Enzo's but to be honest, trust me it would knock lumps off the value!. The vast majority are not driven like this!. Just the previous owners name on the logbook will seal it's fate I'd say that car would be very difficult to have it's history masked, it's an Enzo not a Mondeo!.
I'll buy it from them for £720 if they ever sell it. Obviously it's been ragged, so hasn't got any value anymore. :-)Edited by sone on Tuesday 12th February 12:03
But to be honest, I think it's much less cruel to drive the car in this environment in comparison to the RR they messed about with on a field... (yes, there are some muddy puddles on the road, but other than a few powerslides and a bit of dirty water, I don't see much that harms the car, it's the rural settings that make most of the video a bit "apart" IMHO)

If he's got the money to buy these cars and risk the drop in value then he won't bat an eyelid at the maintenance costs!
Personally i'd probably abuse it worse than that!

This crass display of insouciance is not to my taste. Sorry
Whats next ? a Starbucks Senior Exec incinerating an original Monet on youtube just because he can.
Love the car and some good car control.

Could you explain what exactly has been done to the car to de-value it?
I must be stupid. I fail to see how this will adversely affect the car in any way. It is no muddier than if it had been driven vigorously down a typical British B-road and any other abuse will still be far less severe than a track day. A car like this ought to be enjoyed in a properly spirited manner - on track, down farm roads, on the B6255...whatever.
I have little time for low-mileage supercars and little sympathy for the viewpoint which actively discourages driving a 'driver's car'.

If thats how he wishes to drive it or have it driven for him then thats his choice, personally I had a Enzo I would be st scared of driving it on a beautiful summers day let alone down a farm track and ten tenths in the middle of winter.
Look at it this way, there are plenty of these cars which I doubt even get driven and it will only make these examples more desirable in the furture.

It may not suit you Sir but we are all different, some people take as much joy just owning and cleaning a supercar as others do driving them. It's.
Only.
A.
Car.
A lovely car indeed, but still - just metal, rubber, composites etc. You could buy another one tomorrow - you couldn't buy another one off painting.
I'm a petrolhead just as much as the next person, but it is only a car...
That cost lots of moneyzzz, but still - only a car. love seeing people rag these about. You mean to tell me that there isn't some mega rich person in Dubai trying to drift one around carparks now? Hitting kerbs? Bending wheels and wishbones?
And, i imagine it proabably is Harry Hunt, and that isn't a rally stage. Its a muddy track.
