Does the young man have anything to sell in terms of business or product? The amount of traffic and GLOBAL news coverage he has generated in such a short period of time is truly staggering, very impressive. Google "Ferrari Enzo Rally" and it is all over the shop!

Shame not to capitalise on all the attention I say.
If he can afford to treat an enzo like that he probably won't need a bit of a free publicity...
If stunts in your back garden get over 2,000,000 eyeballs focused in your direction, that's a golden opportunity to pitch something. I know brands that would Pistorius people for this much attention in such a short period of time.

Shmee.. get on the phone, do a deal, get the vids on your site and share the fruits. Peasy money.

I contacted them 12 months ago to ask if they wanted to do anything, obviously long before either of the 2 recent virals. I made the assumption the channel was run by Harry, the rally driving son of Jon Hunt, and perhaps a bit nosily asked about the cars, here's the reply I got:

Unfortunately my name is not Harry, my name is ---- ----- and more worryingly is the fact that you have associated me with Jon Hunt. If you release anymore personal information into the public domain the videos will be taken down.

I ask that you leave the investigative journalism to one side. The videos I produce are for fun. If you want to contact me before using one of my videos or have an idea for a video then please feel free to contact me.

Articles about cars do not need the attachment or inclusion of suspected owners to do well. At the end of the day I kindly ask you to respect our privacy.
It wasn't what I expected, I thought if they were trying to make viral videos then the attention is exactly what they were after, bit odd really.

Wanting to share cars but retain privacy is a noble objective. He's being polite and clear, which makes it all pretty easy.

Enjoy the cars.

I fundamentally disagree with you, if either you or I wanted to remain private we most certainly would not be uploading videos such as the Rolls Royce Rally Car and Enzo WRC. You would still film them if you wanted to but the major difference is that they wouldn't end up online for all to see.

Their reference to him being unhappy about the association was from me posting their 250 GTO video and saying who's it was, owners of those exclusive cars are pretty well documented online. At the time I was completely taken by surprise by their response because my initial message had expressed interest at joining forces to make videos!

Some guys have done a Gallardo version now, but haven't released the video yet.

There is a teaser of it up on YouTube, doesn't look up to this standard but no doubt will be fun to watch.

Some people manage it - Flemke is one notable example. Probably one of the best know F1s out there, but the identity of the owner is not common knowledge.

It is true, I am one of the lucky few to have ridden shotgun in his fabulous car, but I suppose the difference is that he hasn't posted videos all over the internet driving like a buffoon! The way he has distributed content, including my video with 40,000 views is much more civilised and means he can retain his privacy.

I saw this car (Enzo) last night, coming in for a service. Looked a bit mucky but otherwise still in excellent nick.

How much would they make from this video via youtube if they used adverts? Ball park figures?

Not as much as it will cost for a seriously top end full detail, swamped by the cost of a repaired suspension component or anything like that

I'm in 2 minds with this video. Part of me loves seeing an Enzo being driven hard but the other part of me doesn't like to see it done on roads/mud like that.

Fair play to the chaps car control and the thinking behind the video but I think I prefer to see Enzo's being driven hard on a race track like this:

Fantastic, great to see an Enzo owner having such fun and driving the car as intended! :-)
