Coyft, last time I asked they wanted £950k for it. Before it appeared at HR Owen and up until about May 2012 it had been for sale for £895K at Romans for two years having started at £950K. But as wonderful a car it is I think the price is too high for what is a bog standard Zonda F (If there is such a thing)
There is also another White F that has been for sale with a high profile dealer again for £895K. As with this car it too has been with them for at least a couple of years. In my opinion, not that it’s worth much, the market does not seem to think they are worth the asking price at the moment.
As a side bar the same dealer has a Zonda F Roadster up for £1.5m, again it has shown no sign of selling. I am not having a dig at the dealers by the way, just stating an opinion
TT9's red Zonda F which is more highly specced sold to him very quickly after coming too market. I have no idea what he paid but I suspect it may have been less than these two, but I could well be wrong
Personally If I had the money I think I would pay it, knowing that I would be unlikely to ever sell it therefore the pain would fade over time
I suspect the reason is very few will need to sell quickly (I think there was one of the blue cars that got sold because the owner went bankrupt or similar). So they can ask the high prices, and eventually someone will pay for one just to get it. Then since 1 has sold at that price they might put them up a bit. Result is the prices then creep up over time. Also many suspect the Zonda will be a car increasing in value over time, so by holding onto the cars then they can potentially make more profit with the increase (imagine how much profit the dealers would have made if they had held onto 250 GTOs over time)! There is also another White F that has been for sale with a high profile dealer again for £895K. FYI - We sold the carbon car a couple of weeks ago, just waiting on the chap coming to collect next week. The White car also looks like it is sold but awaiting signed contracts, to an existing customer so not worried that this will not happen.
It is a waiting game with these cars if you wish to achieve a sensible selling price, both vehicles had been in stock for a while but equally they sold for the right money as we had hoped they would do.

One day I would like to think I will be in a position to come knocking at your door for a deal
Great to see 6 Zondas all on the move at the weekend chaps but no one felt like indulging in the Runway stuff at Wroughton?
Seems a shame not to see at least one getting a run (May have missed it - if so apologies)
I know they're all very valuable things but with the Enzos having a go and of course the Veyron would have been good to see one being launched in anger.

There's some video here of all the cars yesterday... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aM31PoW-tW4
