Someone really needs to organise a UK Zonda owners get together over the summer, now that would be a sight to see....
Do you know how many Zondas there are in the UK?
Personally I also prefer the orginal version, think it looks much better than the PS version and the one that Lewis has
I know of 15 or 16 just around southern UK, 2 up in/near scotland... so a fair few even if Saywells old one and the Cinque coupe have left these shores. Shame the Ex-macari one isn't still around (and the owner of course)

Unfortunately the C12s 7.0 from Aberdeenshire has left the country and I believe it was last seen in Germany. Additionally, the GJ is no longer registered as '9 GJ' and this, together with other information, leads me to believe that it is no longer in the UK either frown

As above, Re: the GJ.

Believe 9GJ is now RX54NZO, reg change Sep 2012 presumably prior to the Bonhams Auction

Very good shout - thanks for that.

That means I have 17 current UK registered cars with two or three unregistered cars smile

Presumably the Macari roadster wasn't written off?

Enjoy!

edit: Incidentally, does anyone know what happened to Group20's F Roadster? I loved the orange paintwork, has it gone to HK or China?

For some reason I think it went to Singapore?
Unless he's recently sold it and I didn't know, the Group 20 car is still in the UK and owned by a thoroughly nice bloke.
My apologies, I recall a previous thread where I think it was mentioned that it was originally sold to Singapore (although refuted).

Fantastic news, it would be a huge shame if that car left the country. Can't believe you've not managed to get him to take it to Wilton though, Jay? Does he drive it much? I only ask as it hasn't been spotted out for a long time.

edit: Just seen this:

I think I'm on the cusp of doing this at Wilton House, and quite by accident. Over the years we've had various Zondas attend, but if my current list of invitees (and already confirmed) cars comes together we could potentially hit double figures this August. I agree, that would be quite a sight...

Cheers

Wow, that would be spectacular if you pull that off! Would almost certainly make the collection of 12C's from last year look a little weak... wink

We'll use your car as the getaway Jamie...

Nice and subtle wink

Great colour OP really works on the Zonda's curves.

Might be worth revising this old thread of UK Zondas?

Threads like this are why I'm glad I discovered this forum. Look forward to reading about your experiences with the Zonda, and please post lots of photos.

Very kind of you to share this, thanks.

Whats in the little box, is that the model of the car? Nice that the previous owner clearly 'gets' cars too.
