Apparently two cast members, I mean mechanics, were fired last month - sadly one was Tom (the other Jordan):

Listening to that bearded wally talk about making it more powerful, changing seats, wheels etc made me cringe. A beautiful, rare car like an F40 would surely be worth more in totally original spec? And painting it black?? FFS....had to turn it off...couldn't watch the visigoths at work! Can't argue with the sale price I guess, but it was vandalism of the highest order. If I'd bought it and subsequently watched the show...seeing the botched jobs described on this forum, I'd be sick to my stomach.

I think their point was that it was already a fly's wing away from being written off so would never be a mint original car.

Using this logic, they might's aswell make some small changes. To be fair, pretty much all they changed were the colour, wheels and seats.

It wasn't to my taste, and if I was buying an F40 it wouldn't be that one, but then it was only something like $900k when complete? Which, for an F40, is fairly cheap IINM.
