Thanks for your reply. You will have to bring it to the clophill meets in Bedford given you are close. I have sent you a PM.

I also bought a new LP560 anniversary after owning Porsche 911 Gen 2 GT3RS which was a great drivers car but given the choice now after driving the LP 560 I would say the anniversary comes out on top even on build quality .
How many of these anniversary LP560 came to the UK ? and how many were built ? I did here only 50 then I was told 100
World wide.

Hi
I got mine from sytner leicester it is a e gear in metallic white (can't think of colours name)with red callipers the interior as red Q stitching , when I started looking in late February ,there was a white demo at Owens Manchester and a grey New one, I think Owens panbourne had a white demo and a new black one there other London showroom had a green one at the time and other dealer in Kent had a white one which was for sale for a while , the other two sytner dealers I believe had white ones

12 cars in the uk and 100 worldwide, your car sounds interesting as thats the US spec with red stitching and calipers. I was offered the green or the white (bianco opalis) but opted for the white because it had the heated comfort seats which is rare on 50th anniversaries.

I cant understand how the motoring press have not made more fuss out of the late gallardo's, they are phenomenal cars and in the two wheel drive variant a proper drivers car. Also the after service from Lamborghini is another level, it really does make Porsche look like your local skoda dealer.

Oh and my engine hasnt gone up in flames yet

I agree and I'm sure they will pick this up very shortly and prices will subsequently firm up. With Huracan orders strong, supply short and a decent spec car well over £200k late Gallardo prices are likely to rise IMHO.
Factor in a Huracan spider is a further 2 years off and I think you will find late spiders being in demand.
Glad I picked up my late LP570-4 Performante when I did. I reckon these will be the new Challenge Stadale in terms of collector cars and soaring values

Are the 12 UK cars all registered here in the UK or have some gone overseas? As the green one been sold now? Mine as the carbon back lightweight seats which are a bit hard but I am use to that having owned a GT3 RS and a Ferrari CS .
Would anyone know if the superleggra side skirts may fit the LP560 anniversary ? I really think they look good ,and if so are they difficult to fit ? Is anyone selling a pair if so let me know please.

not seen one bad review on youtube from the journo's, for example there is this one from jethro bovinton.....

unfortunately, the driving experience is giving way to fastest shift times, fastest ring/lap times, fastest a to b and an artifical feel is becoming acceptable....

Sorry but its not a dream given the recent trade bids aimed at tempting me out of mine. REALITY is the price is already on an upward trend

Is this the lightest gallardo there is? All dry weights quoted here...

Gallardo 1430kg
Gen1 SL. 1330kg
Lp560. 1410kg
Lp550. 1380kg
570 superleggera ed tech 1340kg

Surprised the squadra corsa is not less than the gen 1 superleggera

But this 560-2 has full carbon interior and seats, wheels off gen1 SL, rear spoiler and carbon brakes.... At least 60kg no? Which would make it the lightest and best power to weight ratio gallardo.... Only problem, don't think any UK cars were specced manual...
Just with the wheels and seats the saving is 50kg, so by my calcs it is the lightest bar maybe the blancpain or squadra corsa variants

Given the low build numbers and only 5 in the UK you would expect such cars top 200k (now)
May sound awesome and look stunning yet it will never be as desirable as a Scud/16M imo

i love the widely touted misconception that because one year nobody wants a certain spec new, then the following year demand and rarity will create a premium ! biggrin

Car is not for sale at any price and I certainly don't feel the urge to share that info publicly other than to say prices are on an upwards trend. I'm not suggesting its 200k or anywhere near that at this stage but lets just say current prices represent value for money against the likes of CS, Scuderia etc....
Very underestimated car that can only be helped by rising CS, Scuderia prices and reducing supply
Don't miss out on the next big thing
