Aha!! Had missed the v car on my generous iPhone screen.. Nicely put at the end of the ad almost hidden :-)

Still.. If it's only stolen and recovered I wouldn't see too many issues. If it's Cat D and needed chassis to be straightened maybe it's a touch on the expensive side :-)

That 458 isn't on MIAFTR2, it has no recorded write off against it.

There is no "V" anymore either.

Which is confusing as it says V car on the ad?

Apparently V car can relate to outstanding finance or stolen recovered so might not have been danaged at all. Sad thing is this thread will have devalued this car as ridicolous as it might be.

Damaged recovered would show on MIAFTR too, there's no record for it.
Good point on outstanding finance that's likely to be the reason.

Cant quite see the rational of saying the car is on V car in your advert if that only relates to outstanding finance as that would have to be settled anyhow... Not to mention until sold I would suspect more than 50% of such cars would have some type of finance on them should we be saeeing this V car notation on more adverts..?? silly I would suspect since the price is unrealistically low for such a car that the V relates to something more than 'outstanding finance'... IMHO of course..

Yeah agree, very strange.
But the vehicle definetly has no marker against it!

Never noticed its LHD as well. If it is a V car then it's starting to look expensive.
