12 months give or take since this thread started the 100k 458 doesn't seem much closer!

1500 miles in nearly 4 years and 2 owners, you've got to ask why haven't you!. What a bloody waste!

So the market is saying 100k not a chance with a day left to go. I'm thinking this car would be a very good buy at anything under 140k.
Interesting stuff.

130 now, reserve can't be much more than 135 I'd have thought!
22hrs left!

So 140k didn't buy it.
I didn't think 140 was an unreasonable offer to be honest. It runs out of warranty in 6 months will need a service and Mot. That could be5k if you put a warranty back on it regardless of the low mileage.
Mind you the market has spoken, looks like a RHD 458 at 100k is still a while off!

I would have bought it at 140k. But indeed reserve not met. Probably expected to get 150k which is ferrari dealer money (albeit for a higher mileage). Curious what trade bid is on smth like this for him to pass on 140k..

I'd be surprised if trade bid was over 135 tbh. Present owner is probably focused on the very low mileage but I personally think that the mileage is less relevant on the 458 than any previous Ferrari. Be interesting to know if it had a stamp for every year regardless of the mileage!

Seems high price considering the prices at dealers at present with warranty and room for negotiations too..

Definately depends on the market.... they start at around 105K GBP here right now for a 2011 car with 5k miles on the clock.

Obviously LHD so not relevent to the UK perhaps but considering that they were well over 160k new that's not bad value I reckon.

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the £80k 458!
http://www.autoscout24.ch/de/d/ferrari-f458-coupe-...

At the time of writing CHF 122k = £80,832.

New that would have cost a shade under CHF 300k (from memory list price before options was CHF 285k. I was offered list with 8% of the value in options thrown in in early 2011) or a 60% drop in less than 4.5 years.

I realise it's not relevant for the vast majority of people here, but that represents a huge bargain in my eyes and interesting to how depreciation is in other parts of the world.

Hmmmm... Not quite! Add the import (to UK from CH) and then you'll be back up near the 100K mark. Still cheap though and good to see the higher mileage proving these things are getting more 'useable'...
