I think a car with 20K miles and 10 services is likely going to be more worn and more likely to break than a car with 6K miles and 2 services, and ultimately, my 6K mile car looks and drives like a new car, inside and out.
Why on earth have you not serviced it ? Or driven it ?

This is weird, I said this a few weeks ago on this forum, but this ID isn't me????

Still, at least it got you all talking... patchy service history on low mileage Italian sourced supercars is commonplace, plus oily bits are relatively easy and cheap to repair relative to the value of the car, I'd always prefer genuine low miles over everything else, but each to their own.

Agree. I've bought a couple of sub 10k mile 10 year old Ferraris in the past which had 2/3/4 years between services because car had hardly been used/been part of collections/been in storage. I gave each a big service and then used with no problems whatsoever for many years and several thousand miles.

Why is it that we are the only country in Europe that has this mania for draining crystal clear golden virgin engine oil from cars after 12 months when they have done zero or a few hundred miles?!

Someone ended up with a cheap car plus it had been used so probably a 1000 times better than a low mileage garage queen. Mine is just sitting there and I know it will develop problems as a result, guna get it out a lot this year.

These cars need to be used!

Good to see if the Williams car is no longer darkening the PH classifieds doorstep!

A juicy black car for sale...!

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...

Fairly high miles, so I would have though it might be lower than £140,000, but guessing the colour is asking a small premium?

Just bought a left hooker, but have no choice living here (Dubai). 20k kms, rosso scud, red n black alcantara interior, FFSH etc from Switzerland. An absolute steal compared to UK prices.

And a higher miles LHD car has well. Well, higher miles compared to the recently sold cars, but still lower miles than the RHD black car above. Still lower than my GT3 and not "high" at all for a 10 year old car. Ferraris and the "mileage thing" eh?

Good value given way prices are heading...

To answer the OP, it seems many CS are finding their way over here. This time last year there were almost 40 for sale in Europe and none over here. This has now dropped to less than 20 for sale in Europe and 7 in the UK, most of which appear to be LHD dealer imports. I'd love to know how many have come in through personal imports and are keepers, mine's one!

That might be due to the VAT. if you import that to the uk add 20%

I looked at buy a CS in Germany ages ago. Earmarked a few cars asked for service history, damage etc. 1 of the cars I looked at had 30,000 euro's worth of damage. I am 99% sure it's now in the UK.

Might help someone.
