"A what? Diablo??"
Quality.

Nice thing is, you can follow it up with "count yourself lucky love, it was nearly a £380k F40!" It almost sounds like you've done her a favour only buying a Diablo!

Well done, congratulations.
Saw your Mosler go through, someone got a lot of car for the money.

I feel for you, the amount you'll be getting after Bonhams fees will [i'm guessing] be only a fraction of what you bought the car for.

70k seems a bargain, so assuming that's around 60k to the seller !!!

Top marks to you for buying a car on the basis of its worth as a car instead of a name. Maybe one day people will catch on over here but I suspect not.

Thanks. The Mosler is a great car but I don't think it will ever be appreciated by the market. The company has now been sold and the new owners don't intend to use the Mosler brand going forward.

Well done - I did not see this thread before I posted about the "bargins" I though the Diablo and Countach were at Goodwood.

I am sure you will enjoy the ownership experience (well, most of it anyway ..she is Italian after all and "they all do that" laugh )

Epic this is why i love Pistoheads Forum. Diablo is stunning. Being a 93 model does that mean it has power steering?
looks 10 of 10 and super impressed you drove it away that day! I can only imagine the wife saying, why are you not driving to goodwood in your car? ehhh because Im planning on coming back with a new toy!

i took my otherhalf along to goodwood on saturday and was delighted that we got the thumps up from a few people on the villages on the way home and kids in cars passing, i think all of a sudden she is finally realising why us boys need to have a fun car.

Congrats, a beautiful Diablo.

If anyone is interested in the f40 drop me a line and I can let the owner know, he is open to selling it (at the right price)

I live just outside Horsham so you'll probably see [or hear] the beastie about.

If there are any Horsham meet-ups i'd be happy to bring it along.
