Somebody strolls over to get the female passenger out and the driver just causally gets out like nothing happened.. But yeah I agree it is ttish.. The video itself is and shouldn't of been put up, it seems many pekoe want to watch it though judging on the view count..

It doesn't matter how they are, the guy filming didn't know they were fine moments after it happened. Very sad to see.

I think the people filming/uploading in London, and the drivers, are all tts.

But it was pretty clearly a crash where there wasn't going to be any serious injuries. So why not just keep filming all the idiots involved... I wouldn't be rushing to help them either.

I think it looks tragic when you see someone in their 20's hanging around these streets all day just looking for cars to film to stick on Youtube... often encouraging them to do something illegal.

Though I best be careful with what I say on this subject... I might end up with an angry email from Schmee (again) laugh

hmmmm, good spot. However, the drivers foot may well have slipped off the brake peddal as the car jumps up. These LED lights go on/off in a blink of the eye.... we'd have to see the full video to make sure.

Why was he filming anyway? There was nothing to see where he was filming, well until the car happened to pull out !

Sloane Sq/Street and the surrounding areas/Knightsbridge etc have become a motoring circus, especially in July/August when the tourists fly their cars over.

Whether the Lamborghini owner is at fault or not, this accident happening to a car like that, and the idiocy demonstrated in the area by others in similar cars, means that if this gets enough publicity, we may see some rather draconian traffic calming measures in the area.

I've got to say, I feel bloody embarrassed driving anything "nice" in central London (where I live). I remember being a kid and seeing the odd bit of exotica in town in 1990's, always driven impeccably, and thought the cars and drivers were impossibly cool.... now though, when my time has come, the "circus" is enough to make you want leave the car at home and hail a cab...
I suppose if you're just a kid in his dad car and revving around I'd cut you some slack (you're just a kid at the end of the day) but the thought of being confused with one of these guys... Taxiiiiiiiii!

Some posters on YouTube *speculating* the Lambo may allegedly have been doing 25 - 35mph?

Acquaintances of the driver no doubt, in case the Insurers take a look at all the online comments/pictures - which of course they will. Obvious to most people it was going faster and was still accelerating hard before the collision. Feel sorry for the Mazda driver, you don't expect a matt-black stealth assassin to be coming down the road at that speed. Had his mate behind him so no doubt they were both having a bit of a hoon, especially with his reputation.

I think it's hard to tell how fast he's going in the video and it'd be unfair to speculate. What is clear, however, is it's too fast to be safe for that road. That car could have been a person walking out from behind a parked car. The YouTube comments saying if he's in the speed limit he's done nothing wrong are complete mongs. Not speeding doesn't absolve you of responsibility

Absolutely correct, another link shows him taking off from a crossing, which I wager is a tad over 30 biggrin
