Narrin, re: the low speed jerkiness ( worse from cold)I take it you know of the starting trick that smooths it out? ( Depress accelerator slowly twice to the floor before starting).

I'm afraid that's a myth which has been well discussed on the SportsMaserati forums. If you turn the key and not start the car and then let all the lights on the dash go out before you fire her up there will be no jerkeyness as it gives the clutch time to recalibrate. The pressing of the pedals creates this illusion as in affect you are giving the car 4-5 seconds to recalibrate anyway.

Try the above - you don't need to press the accelerator ;-)

Only worked with the pedal on mine,so not a myth for me(I never start any car before the warning lights go out),and I was someone who flagged it a few times on that forum to new owners who had the problem. Few dealers know why it works (pedal or not).
Whatever the view, either method is worth trying.

Gents

Although very late in this topic... I am pleased Mutske, that you have gone for GT, you will love it...

I think I maybe the only one on here who doesn't rate the MC Shift.. I actully preferred the 4.2 Auto.... more suited to my chilled out travels... I also like the chrome trim..

There is no doubt the 911, (991) is a fantastic peice of kit.. and I think my next additional car will be a 991 Targa... but I could never let go of the GT.. it makes me smile too much.

Here's mine.. next to my more perfunctory work car.. ... Reg plate keeps falling off on my drive.. (:
