Carrera GT in Asda
One of my favorites so far What a mentalist.
And are F1's really worth that much now - £6m?! Ive seen Andy's down near Horsham a couple of times and although I knew they were pricey, didnt think it was close to being worth that - I cant imagine ever risking taking it out anywhere!

I have to admit that I think IMO Andy's GTR would be worth much more if not similar money to TT9's.
I seem to remember 5 large being banded about when he bought it what 2 or 3 years ago. In that time it's had a full nut and bolt recommission. So I'd imagine what with it's pedigree it's worth much more than he paid for it now.
I guess there's only one man that will know the answer to that question.

Annoying that '5 large' means £5k to me I seem to remember 5 large being banded about when he bought it what 2 or 3 years ago. In that time it's had a full nut and bolt recommission. So I'd imagine what with it's pedigree it's worth much more than he paid for it now.

I would have thought the GTRs would have been worth more.
I know what Id go for!
I'd rather have a GTR too, especially an interesting one like Andy74's but AFAIK they trade at a discount to the road cars, at least they did a couple of years ago. Maybe the GTR's have overtaken the road cars now but I suspect not,the majority of collectors with that much cash are probably too fat to wriggle into a GTR I know what Id go for!

I think the GTRs like Andys are worth a fair bit less than the road cars. I've heard £2-3m.
Still a metric f**ktonne of money, but nowhere near as bonkers as a road car.
GTR's were always a discount to road cars but in the last year that has been reversed. Market now see GTR's like the race 250 swbs. not many cars and given who owns them it seems unlikely any will be sold soon.Still a metric f**ktonne of money, but nowhere near as bonkers as a road car.

My God.. eventually. This was the first Ferrari I ever saw, I must have been about 10 years old and in London when it was driving infront of us. That car and the reg plate have stayed in my head ever since. I have told countless people over the years about the Ferrari with the "BEG 4 1T" plate.. Now 24 years later it appears on PH :-)Good memories :-)

Funny. The first Ferrari I ever saw was a GTO on the number plate CC1. I was 8 and the owner must have seen me nearly wet myself with excitement and let me sit in it. Difficult to forget!Good memories :-)
