I'm so glad #19R got returned to the testing livery but I still can't reconcile with GTR's on the road, especially Longtails, the ride height adjustment ruins the stance completely.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit upon seeing the longtail, my initial thought was ''what an odd looking Mosler GT3...and why is it so long and has a roofscoop. Come to think of it, why is it powered by BMW?!'' And then I connected the dots.

Whoops!

I agree it's a daft 'road car' but frankly a pure track car is a PITA logistically. In any event the conversion to road legal was done by Gordon Murray at vast expense... it's been done proper like wink
Personally I don't like the livery, I prefered it as Darth Vaders personal ground transport...

Not sure if a pub car park is that incongruous, but the car is certainly ridiculous enough...

That pub is almost opposite the McLaren factory so not all that random.

You can see the electric cables coming out of the engine bay for the trailer lights.

Do you not think the trailer is a very long way from the car?
...and you can see the central exhaust on the Murcielago so the ball hitch (if there were one) would be over to the right.

If anyone were to go to the effort of putting a towbar on a supercar they're unlikely to just string some piece of cable between the two in a ramshackle way.

The registration plate of the trailer is different to the car. I say it's photoshopped!

I made a genuine request to Lotus, back in '99, that they equip my Esprit GT3 with a tow-hitch for towing a bike to track days. Surprisingly, they weren't interested!

Is that Dubai or Bahrain? Cant read the plate.

I live in Aus.

Trailers are required to have their own separate reg plate.
