Cliveden House 2014 - Sign up information
Discussion
Scott is exceptionally busy at the moment so I will do my best to fill his shoes and help coordinate this years event.
As always offers of help and volunteering will be gratefully accepted.
As in past years I intend to arrange the customary run from London, details of which will be emailed to those on the signup list along with entry passes.
If you are not on the list you will not be able to enter the event even if you have a pass (as they can easily be printed in multiples) of course you can park in the national trust car park at Cliveden - i believe entry is £9 per person but don't hold me to that!
The format will be the same, as will the branding (i.e. none!) and the car selection criteria will be the same as previous years with a couple of updates.
The limit is 130 cars this year but i am in ongoing discussions with Cliveden to see if i can squeeze some more in.
We will continue with the buffet BBQ idea that worked will last year, details of that are to follow as soon as Cliveden get back to me.
As always the event is held by the Scuditalia private forum so the main list is held there, however as in previous years there is a publicly accessible list on the PN forum here..
http://www.petrolheadnirvana.com/torque/index.php?...
For those unfamiliar with the criteria the list will comprise the following (the numbers per marque may vary slightly depending on how the lists fill up)
75 Ferrari
20 Lamborghini
20 McLaren
15 'other' supercars - eg: 959, 918, Carrera GT, BMW M1 or I8, K...Egg, LFA Veyron, XJ 220, XJR-15, DBS, One 77, Zonda, Huayra or very special classics Please PM Harsh on the PN forum if you have a question. The guideline are always is the Evo Magazine Supercar list.
Please don't post here asking to be put on the list, not because i am lazy, or because i expect you to signup on the forum but because adding 130 cars myself would be a full time job in itself!

Thanks for arranging this Bachi. Do you know if Cliveden coincides with the P1 International Supercar Meet at the DeVere Hotel again this year? Not a problem if it does as the hoon between the two is a good laugh!
Hi Tim, to be honest i've no idea if P1 are holding an event this year.I've not heard much from them recently... be good to catch up at Cliveden anyway!

You know the drill though... put your name down on the list you lazy so and so
(if only because i don't have a 'something exotic' category1)

Nothing personal don1 but how does a modernish triumph gt6 qualify as a contender for EVO 's Supercar list ?
How does that comparison work? This was a decision by the organisers to include what is considered to be an interesting and unusual car.
The evo list is a guide but decisions as to whether to include or exclude are made by the organisers
You may notice a solitary 911 Turbo, a couple of Vipers and a Morgan on the list, but also F40's Aventadors and McLarens too it's not an exact science but it makes for interesting discussions on the day...

A quick question - is being on the list enough for both the convoy as well as entry into Cliveden? Or do we need to purchase a ticket on the day on arrival?
Hardeep, I have your email address and will email the pass along with run details to you about 2 weeks before the event. So yes, you're covered no need to pay on entry - you will have to pay for your food if you decide to choose the bbq option over your own picnic but that's about it!

Just sold the Ford GT, so currently on the hunt!
Just 13 days on from launching the date and we're past the 130 car limit.
The good news is that Cliveden have agreed to 160 cars so the reserves are now on the main list.
Despite the increase we have (at time of posting) the following slots available
5 Ferrari
5 Lamborghini
7 McLaren
5 'Other / Interesting' cars
The route for the run from London has been tested and will be emailed to those on the list along with other details including entry passes.
