I can highly recommend Colin - he used to look after my LP400S2 and knows these cars inside out. My only caveat is that he isn't keen on the 'newer' cars (anything after 1980...)

As I'm sure you expect, anything with such low mileage is likely to need a fair bit of attention (contrary to what some people think) as these cars don't enjoy lack of use. I hope you are buying it with the idea of doubling that mileage in the first month smile

Good luck!

Jonathan
When I bought Jonathan's car, I used Mike Pullen, simply for a second opinion, given Colin C had done all the previous work.. ( I did also speak with Colin, who was very helpful.)

I'd say either of those two will know exactly what to look for, and will be able to do any remedial work needed.

Thanks everyone, very helpful!

Getting excited about this car, like many, I had the poster on my wall as a kid!

Apparently it is in time warp condition, with original stickers and P7 tyres

Looks amazing, that car is a design classic.

Enjoy it!

I actually got my Countach out yesterday for the first time in three years (don't ask) and just fell in love with it all over again! I spent the whole day tooling around in it behaving like a complete hooligan and it was fantastic! I had forgotten what peoples reaction to it was. I'd forgotten how fast it was, I d forgotten how loud it was but most of all I'd forgotten what bloody good fun it is to drive!

Nice. Mine had similar this weekend.

I see you're based in the South East- where abouts- I am near Rye.

Maybe meet up for a blast one day.

How funny we're so close. Not sure where the Chimneys is. Yep, let's fix something up sometime while we have good weather!

I don't suppose by chance?.....that either of you Gentlemen would like a twighlight run out in an immaculate testarossa, in exchange of course, for a run out in one of your immaculate Countach's. I too am near Sevenoaks and frequently use the A21 from Sevenoaks down towards tunbridge wells to "blow out" the cobwebs. (I am all of 5 minutes from Chimneys at the Woodman) I am absolutely gagging for a ride in my absolute favourite car, at the same time you would have the chance to see what the competition was really like back in the eighties. Let me know what you think?

Cheers

Hi Simon,
Sounds like too tempting a trip down the M25 to pass up! So if you're up for getting some photos let me know. Not sure what the next couple of weekends have in store just yet, but if I can be there, I will!

Chaps, if this thread is turning into an A21 Driver's Club, count me in, based in Wadhurst and can bring an XJ220 or XJR15. Would love to do a local run. PS - Lambo_XX - great collection, thanks for sharing your experiences!
