Stage 1..2. then 3 Twin-Turbo Gallardo build
Discussion
ZeusF - that is pure insanity and well done for having the balls to go for that conversion!
Once completed, Will yours be the only twin turbo conversion in the U.K?
Giving my gallardo some serious stick around my favorite roads i see the engine does lack torque unless your up the rev range (but that's fine as i love the noise). However I have to agree with andy above that 600/700bhp really would be the limit for me simply as a road car as the 100 mph + (license danger zone) really does come up pretty quickly - and there seems to be more and more unmarked police cars about(Essex/London area). Would love a passenger ride once your car is back here though (petrol on me!)
Serious balls indeed sir!

1250whp which should get below 3s 0-60 although there will be so much power that times would be measured on 40-150 as this will mean more.
The car will hit 200mph if needed and shouldn't post more than 12d above stock temps thanks to the charge cooler system.
Where are you planning to use your 1250whp? Track, drag strip? The car will hit 200mph if needed and shouldn't post more than 12d above stock temps thanks to the charge cooler system.
Just curious.

I haven't driven my Gallardo on the road and once thought, "perhaps it could do with another 400bhp+".
This.Even for drag strip show off events, there are cars that you can chuck money in to that would be just as quick in a straight line for MUCH cheaper and much less hassle.
4WD for example is good up to the point where the torque causes too much weight to be lifted off the front wheels, then the RWD big BHP cars take over.

Obviously, a dedicated drag strip car would be cheaper to do, but that's not what this is. They are arguably the fastest street cars in the world.
