Insurance for 'anyone over 30' to drive it / 6 months abroad
Discussion
Evening,
I've got a LHD gallardo spider currently on foreign plates and currently in UK. I'm considering swapping it onto British plates for reasons that I won't bore anyone with here.
Who should I speak to about quoting for insurance for it to be driven by anyone older than 30? I was speaking to another British bloke today and he reckons I'm going to struggle to get quotes on that basis?
It would really be a deal breaker for me.... if I can't get it insured for anyone at all to drive it then I'll probably have to bin the plans to put it on UK plates. I'd also really like to be able to keep it out of the country for 6 months at a time. I realise that 3 months is often more standard, but 6 works better for me. Possible?
Thanks
