different between pirelli p zero vs p zero corsa
Discussion
Corsas offer more dry weather grip at the expense of wear and cold/wet weather performance. Given that we're coming to winter the regular P Zero is a far better choice.
My old v12v came with corsas and AM actually made you sign a disclaimer saying that you understood that the tires were useless below 7c.

Yep, corsa's are almost slick after a couple of races / track days, so not worth it for the road, unless you want to buy a new set every few weeksMy old v12v came with corsas and AM actually made you sign a disclaimer saying that you understood that the tires were useless below 7c.
I had one of each on the front of my car (Stradale) for a few 100 miles following a puncture and being unable to get a Corsa.
The non corsa washed out and skidded under heavy breaking noticeably sooner than the corsa in dry conditions.
Id describe the non corsa as 'crap' in comparison for supercar use in the dry.

The GS came with a set of Zero Rosso, and the rears are now down to level where I'm hoping the rain eases for my trip Oop North this weekend.
I was going to replace like with like - they've lasted 8k (!) of mainly touring, and I don't tend to drive the car too hard or do trackdays. The front ones will last until the rears are dead anyway.
For a GT car not bothered about outright grip, anyone ant comments?

Thread bump, but I've just Had P Zero Corsas fitted to my RX8. Direzionales on the front and Asimmetrico 2s on the rears.
Before this I just had normal P Zeros fitted.
My advise to you would be to only go for the Corsas if you track your car. The Corsas are not as good as the normal tyres in cold or wet weather when not up to temperature. No aqua-planing but you will notice more understeer.
The corsas will perform a lot better than normal P Zeros on a dry track and/or when up to temperature but will also wear quicker.
Hope this helps!
