Where have all the Mk1 Superleggeras gone?

Exactly, we are talking about one or two mythical cars.....which could be in any condition, mileage or service history etc......I'd buy one of the 2-3 white ones that are about if they came up. There was one at a dealer near me for £106k but hadn't been serviced at all in about four years.....
If you are referring to the one sold at Supercar Rooms it missed 2 services out of 5 (and not on consecutive years) and it did (virtually) no mileage between those missing services. I had it inspected (twice, once by main dealer and secondly by my local highly respected independent just to be sure) and it wants for nothing. Condition is like it's just come out of the factory and it drives beautifully with all recalls done. I always buy on condition first. It's about to have another main dealer service (for the stamp) followed by a follow up by my local indie so 4 out of 6 services doesn't sound too bad.
Sorry bud, but I think you really missed out on this car.

I'm sure it's a great car, I never said it wasn't, just that the service history wasn't up to scratch considering the premium being asked over two other cars ( a grey and a black one) that were up for sale at the time for £90k & £94k.It's about to have another main dealer service (for the stamp) followed by a follow up by my local indie so 4 out of 6 services doesn't sound too bad.

It wasn't for sale at Super Car rooms initially, it was with a smaller dealer out Worcester way I think. That probably didn't help matters as the guys answers were pretty off putting when asked about the history along the lines of "Yeah, it's not had a service in a few years but hasn't done many miles anyway so no problem, when do you want to come look at it?"
Enjoy, I'm sure it's a great car!

I saw a white SL a couple of weeks ago on the A1 then A428 towards MK so guessing that may have been you?
That was probably me - going to or having spent the day at Silverstone. Chad_Hugo said:
Would probably list for 120k today..??
Put it this way, if I didn't have one I would part with £120k for a good one. However, I wouldn't part with my SL for £120k. Where that leaves us I have no idea - sectioned probably? For me it isn't only the best Gallardo to own, it is also the only Gallardo I would own. With hypercar owners happy to make room for these (including Lewis Hamilton) over LPs or Huracans, I would suggest I'm not alone in thinking this.
I'm going back to my petting...

I've now done 3500 miles in it over the summer with a couple of road trips, all the shows/events I could sign up to, and it's been friggin' awesome. It's about to be pampered with main dealer service and anything else done on it (no expense spared), then put to bed for the winter.
I have to agree with sa_20V, even though the LP cars are technically better, there is a little of the old school Lambo feel about the SL and I wouldn't swap for any other Gallardo.
