Just spotted this, that Indian is on the Widnes side of penketh which probably explains his actions
Alcohol makes normal people do strange things, my guess is he wasn't normal to start with.
Owning a classic or exotic does give you a kind of "approach me" status where people want to have a chat, I've got an old defender 90, I did a boot sale in it and spent more time answering questions about the 90 than I did selling stuff

This is so true! Even my little Vespa seems to attract mad people who like to jump in front of it waving their arms shouting "LAMBERETTTA or YEAHH THE MODS!" My MGB generally tends to attract slightly less bonkers people though.Similar thing happened to my friend once as the OP. Drunk guy refused to get out the back of her car. Was a slightly less exotic motor though, a Mk3 VW Golf 1.3!
