Hi

Im just about to sink 32k into a Jag and someone suggested the Maserati GT which looks gorgeous and sounds awesome but looking at an advert for one at 60K miles it states that the last service at 48K miles was £7000 !!!!!

So owners, what goes wrong on these ? If that much has been spent is this good for a few years ? hints or tips.

I have 32k max to spend.

Agree with above.

In essence reliability is good. Suspension and gearbox are key items to check.

The price for the last service is not wrong, my last was just over £5,000. However a lot of the work could have been postponed. That's with an hourly rate of £70. It was at the best Maserati garage in the UK (as far as I am concerned).

I would try to get the lowest mileage possible so 40k on the clock would be reasonable to aim for.

Also the old adage of ensuring that there are lots of bills and receipts is a must.
