Before you buy one, think. As they are very low to the ground they struggle with potholes, speedhumps ect, and is it practical? Koenigseggs are very wide. If you dont have potholes and speedhumps near you then i say go for it! Also the engines are reliable, it will also turn many, many heads in your local town!
Cheers.
Actually there is no problem with pot holes or speed humps, the Koenigsegg has a very compliant suspension setup for day to day driving. It is no harder a ride than that of say a 458 Ferrari. It handles not particularly well maintained roads with as much comfort as you would hope from a Supercar. As for speed humps, difficult garage entrances etc... The Koenigsegg has as standard a lifting system which has on more than one instance allowed me to mount a pavements kerb to aid parking, clearance is very good and the overhang low at the front which helps.

It will certainly turn heads though thats for sure..!

ps. Thanks Jonty, we have nothing to hide here. Koenigsegg has not been the easiest brand to move over the last few years but we have worked at it and with the help of the factory and the updated tech we have put into the cars it really has turned around, we are having a bonzer year with Koenigsegg and it does not seem to be slowing down for 2015. I see a very positive future for this brand moving forwards...
Thank you for telling me that

Can I just hijack this thread to ask about the CCXR Edition VIN YT9XC91AX8A007056? It is showing for sale at a dealership in London on the classifieds section here, but it is not showing on the Official Koenigsegg Pre Owned Programme.
It's the only Koenigsegg I've ever had the chance of seeing in real life (at Bob Forstners) and I've always wondered what happened to it.

Thanks.

7056 Was sold by the owner (not BF) to Malaysia so the ad is very much out of date this was back in August 2013 we serviced and upgraded the car just before it departed. Very nice car and the only RHD Edition car.

GregF40 - look forward to seeing you in the showroom sometime.

What a nice chap Tommy is, I think he should be offered the new "Guest Editor" position that I have just invented for PH with no authorisation whatsoever
Tommy is great to deal with and I have only had positive experiences in dealing with him. I highly recommend you visit Super Vettura in Sunnigdale. Incidentally if you view GT Board runs Koni beat everything it goes against with ease, except a bike!!

Speak to Tom from Super Vettura - met him at Geneva - liked him.

I loved the Agera - still can't get my head around why there's no gearbox.

Off to Spa tomorrow - so will try and drop into SV this week

Just to resurrect an old thread. I noticed the CCX-R Edition is back in London and up for sale in Joe Macari Cars. http://www.joemacari.com/All-Cars-for-Sale/_prod_K...

It's the only one I've ever seen in the flesh. Stunning looking machine.

If the 911R is really worth £1m, do you think they would do a straight swap for mine?

Now that this thread has been resurrected, I saw my first Koenigsegg and met Tommy a month ago at this event in Spain:
https://vimeo.com/172240866

As sort of implied by the video, the Koenigsegg was pretty much the center of attention. And I had the pleasure of spending a 4-day weekend with Tommy and sharing a glass of wine or three with him and the owner of the car, and wouldn't hesitate to do business with him.
