The F1 is at MSO having a new clutch, tanks, major service and a new sports exhaust. The former is an engine out job so I thought I'd take advantage and have the engine and the bay detailed. Here are some of the pictures (apologies if already seen on Twitter)

That looks great!

I can't help but look at that engine on the stand and think what sort of ridiculous car you could make it fit in, just for a laugh!

Strikes me that it's pretty amazing that it actually fits inside the body of the F1

And I moan when I have to take the under tray off the Volvo when changing the oil!

Nice photos.

The first time I have seen one out of the car. I bet that sports exhaust (love the fact you can get a sports exhaust for an F1!) Will sound awesome.

Excellent pictures Gavin, thanks for posting. cool

As for the sports exhaust, I assume the bog standard F1 orchestra just doesn't cut the mustard eh? laugh

Beautiful. Photos like this do far more for me, and actually inform me far more than opinionated reviews.

Love those pics, it really is a lovely thing to look at.

I am always amazed to see how compact that Weismann Transmission is compared to the engine.

Very cool! Also love the idea that you need a sports exhaust on an F1!

You must stick a video on when it's done and let us hear it.
