Yes the very same
That's great! It's nice to see a car as special as the F1 being used and taken to events (eg. Wilton House in the pouring rain)

May I ask, what is the weight of the rear engine/box suspension? it is one beautiful piece of art.

Quadruple plate carbon clutch. Awesome. The engineering is just amazing for its time - real F1 stuff - and still looks today good comapred with a Pagani.

TT9

has this happened in the last few weeks? if our company has helped and had a engineer there a few times. The 12 low profile clamps look to be PG168 if im correct.

Please don't take the following as criticism, because it whole-heartedly is not - I think the car is magnificently awesome.

But....

Was red your first colour choice?

It's a little unusual for an F1, and I realise that availability must dictate this to a large degree when you bought it, so I was just wondering if you'd have specced that new?

No - I can honestly say that red was not my first choice. I really like the F1 in dark silver or white (quite partial to the bronze/metallic brown car too). I would go as far as to say that the colour of the car used in the press brochures are normally the best, and stand the test of time - however the light silver is just too common (if there is such a thing in a low production run).

My choice was largely dictated by availability and the fact that I wanted to find a car in as original condition as possible,

That said, I think the red looks amazing 'in the flesh'' - it really works. I wouldn't change it for another colour now.

+1

Really appreciate you sharing the pics and allowing us to see what lies beneath, so to speak. Do you attend any shows etc, as would really like to see in the metal some time in 2015.

Not certain which events it'll be at next year but almost definitely at the SupercarEvent (although it probably won't get tracked).

Most likely at Salon Prive and the Festival of Speed.
