Did you know this work needed doing when you bought the car?

Yes everything except the clutch which was a rather unpleasant suprise given it hadn't covered many miles since its last one (3k odd).

SupercarEvent (although it probably won't get tracked)
I heard there were a lot of folk (mainly the other drivers !) with cheque books back in June year specifically hoping it would appear so they could buy a ride !

I'm sure I can be persuaded to do a few laps - it is a great cause!

This is McLarens latest titanium sports exhaust. Weighs around a quarter of the original and should sound a bit more special too...

Hi, just a quick question if that's ok. The carbon fibre steering wheel centre, is it lacquered or not?

It's just I was given one in the mid 90's by my Dads then secretary whose boyfriend did some of the carbon work for the cars.

The one I have has the f1 badge but all the carbon fibre is unlaquered. I was wondering whether to lacquer it but would only do so if that is how it should have been finished.

Thanks and enjoy in good health,

Matthew

As others have said about the colour I would not have thought red would suit the F1 but seeing your pics it really works smile looks great
